@DarkSunDuelist If I recall correctly this video (Which was THE first English Dissidia AHP match uploaded on youtube) Flare was reflected by Tidus which means two of those flares are his.

HOWEVER Bombard is a high priorty reflect Move. This means if your opponent reflects any Flares, you can reflect them back. This has won me a few games where in one I reflected THREE of my own flares back and trapped my opponent in a corner with a Thunder Crest aswell.

The Emperor can make more than one flare but the orange flare can only be cast when he's in the air and it kind of acts more like a shield because it doesn't track the opponent.

there's a minor tracking property at the beginning though, whether the opponent is above or below, it will tilt a little that way, but that's just it. nevertheless, i agree that it's used more of a shield.

Chases ARE faster now. Essentially who ever got the first hit in Chase without dodging could literally break the oppoenet.

There were so many where Chase won us, Nero is uploading one as we speak. Comparing this to the Japanese version, the Japanese version chase are forseeable by a mile a way.
