  • Man, I'll stick with the shelby gt500. In 2011 it has nearly identical performance numbers, and it gets 16 city 24 highway, and is priced at 55,000. Heck the 2013 gt500 outperforms this car in every way, and it still has good enough mpg to not get the gas guzzler tax. A valiant effort gm, but no thank you.

  • @retrohippie

I second that my good man.

  • Looks like it came from Gotham City. One of the most beautiful luxury cars on the market.

  • 12MPG! oh my, I'll wait for the ELR, but this car is damn sexy.

  • 0-60 in 3.8 seconds... pretty impressive numbers for a car in this price range.

  • never gettin one of them :/

  • in the US you can buy a 2012 cts V coupe starting at 64,515 USD

in Mexico you can buy a 2012 cts V coupe starting at 99,620 USD

    what the fuck!!!!!

  • I have had my ctsv coupe for a week and I'm getting 10.2 mpg haha which is why it is not my daily driver. Though it is an AMAZING vehicle

  • they should use the recaro bucket seats in the vette

  • Paddle shifters???...PPppppff....learn to drive Manual if you gonna spend that much.

  • I just bought this car. I previously owned a 2008 Z06 Vette, I'm 6'7" so wanted a car that fit me, had great performance but had more luxury in the cabin than the vette. This car has more room, more power, more luxury and nearly the performance of the Z06. My only complaint so far is the automatic. I'm disappointed with the upshift speed in manual mode. You can hit the cut out if you're not super fast on the "paddles' since the shift speed is so slow and the acceleration is so incredibly fast.

  • Reminds me of the Aztec, not good.

  • hey steve, do you know when they going to change the CTS-V design?

  • ShineARidecom, John Roberts, This guy talks a good game about this car !

  • ShineARidecom, John Roberts, I like this 2012 car!

  • I have one, the interior and overall build quality is pretty poor in many cases. Sad, because I wanted to love this car so much, but now I am looking at the biturbo E63. This car does get TONS of looks though.

  • with bmw having just revealed its all new 3 series, i am hugely disappointed by what i saw , they seem to pull an audi-esque "make all models look virtually identical" on the new 3 series, i hope the up coming cadillac ats will be what i think it is going to be, cadillac is well on their way to i`d say so far.

  • Only the second review I've watched by you and I'm really liking your reviews!

  • back looks boss :D

  • actually this is great looking car!

2 bad it is isnt german one :(

  • The black wheels are a nice touch.

  • Maybe one day we'll get the CTS-V range over here. Great review Steve!

  • I was wondering if you could review small trucks, cuz I'm lookin for a truck

  • Great review as always....the ass end of this car is HIDEOUS. The sedan looks much better.

  • Hey Steve great review as usual!

Just a suggestion though, could you give a star rating for each car at the end of the video (like 4 out of 5 stars for example) just so we can gauge how good the car is after hearing all you have to say about it?

  • @laskjdgx Look for a bunch of changes/updates like your suggestion in 2012. Thanks for watching!

  • Jeebus, please don't. It adds fuel to a debate that might otherwise degenerate into a pissing match. We'll be fighting about your ratings and not about the car.

  • Wait till you drive the new M5...

  • LMAO. CTS as well as Cadillac are simply the ugliest cars unless driven by the Flintstones or if you're still stuck in the 80's wearing parachute pants. The design team should be transferred to the appliance design department.

  • @shawnspeed3 I think it will depends upon the taste of whose buying it...

  • The coupe looks like a hatchback more then anything.

  • dat gas mileage

  • The sedan is still the best looking, most well proportioned on the trio by far...of course their performance is amazing regardless of the body style.

  • now if only they would make a convertible...

  • I love the styling. The back end is amazing. Coming from a BMW fan!

  • @BusterBunker The back end should look good, because a lot of "racer's" are gonna be lookin at it.

  • Who would have thunk it, a cool caddy.

  • I'd take the wagon over the coupe any day of the week.

  • daaaaam thats nice

  • Beautiful car. Great review. Now I'm really torn between the CTS-V, Charger SRT8 and 300C SRT8. What would you do Steve? I will be buying at the end of the year. Take into consideration, it will be for autobahn driving. Thanks Steve.

  • @FXSwissTrader get the CTS-V... WAGON! such a bad ass car

  • Steve, of the 3 CTS-V models, which do you prefer?

  • @1ightweightSukka I'd say the wagon.

  • @stevehammes ditto

  • @1ightweightSukka i think you mean FAAAAAABULOOOUS!

  • @camaroman101 Indeed good chap.

  • this is way beyond C63, Thank you GM for the finally production killer vehicle

  • I'll take mine in black, please.

  • I don't know, the interior doesn't look bad, but teh rear quarters just look awkward :o(

  • I personally don't like its terrifying blind spot in back...

but anyways...out of all 3...which one is your favorite? Sedan, Sportwagon, or Coupe?
