"Crash" and "Clash" are both proper spellings and nearly mean the same thing. They say that every time that there is an "R" in Japanese, it should be replaced with an "L".

Honestly, the music in this game has oso much potential. I mean, I love love Wood Man's and Air Man's themes. Still, the audio quality is what really kills the soundtrack as a qhole.
Ahhh! The memories! I in fact love this soundtrack and in many places I think the actual melodies are better in the this game then their NES counterparts. If they only had the polish of the NES soundtrack I think this OST would get more appreciation.

In my opinion, the only theme that is worse than the original is Wood Man, but it was difficult coming up with a successor for this legendary theme.
The three others are either as good (Metal) or better (Air, Crash)

I agree. The themes themselves are very good, but the sound is grainy. Were it higher quality, it would be much more widely recognized, I think.

this is the only mega man game boy game where the robot master themes have been completely changed. not as good as the nes versions but still ok.

I think, in my opinion, that Mega Man II on the Game Boy has weak music. The only song I like in this game is the boss theme.
