With that out of the way, Nostalgia-gasm. I laughed, I cried, I raved, I fell for this mix. My college mates, we get together and play/reminisce about our teams in r/b/y. Starmie, Alakazam, Snorlax, Tauros and Gen 1 hyper beam teams. We were all such assholes as kids.

It was strange when my friend's little brother showed up and said he grew out of pokemon years ago. HUH? He's still in middle school, and he... huh?

I'm 21 and still like Pokemon, have since 1995, and will respect the franchise until it dies. People who think you're "too old" for it need to grow up themselves. I've grown as Pokemon has grown, and it makes me happy to see it's still thriving. You can enjoy games of all kinds and still be a mature, respectable person.

Kids now only care about their kill counts in Call of Duty and Halo. Play something with an actual storyline and good gameplay, though, and it's returned immediately. :\
