  • Very lovely rendition.

  • i had to sing this in choir...it was VERY confusing

  • My mother taught us this song as kids. We used to sing it in part harmony. We were a musical family. It wasn't until I grew up that I realized this was unusual. Now I am a parent, I try to teach my kids the joy of singing, but they just cant get it. Even row, row, row your boat is a struggle for them. Guess it just must be in your genes.....

  • @jerramy I guess your family learned the basics of singing implicitly before the family actually started singing in part harmony. Perhaps your parents sang parts with each other, and this taught the children how to sing this way, by example?

  • wow... this is one of the most beautiful thing's i'v ever herd

  • aww beautiful <3

we're playing this in fiddle club at school...

  • A lovely rendition, perfectly executed. Suited especially well to harp (hammered dulcimer as well).

  • Thanks for sharing! I'm working on a choral arrangement of this folk song with my choir at school right now.
