i feel the cyberdemon fight was a little too easy , i mean the only thing that'll damage it is the soul cube which is as easy as hell to use and recharge, i wanted more of a challenge :(
Same here. After playing for 15+ hours, it was a let-down to run around in a circle killing easy demons. The Doom 1 and 2 Cyberdemons were way better, they actually took time (and killed me lol).
luckily though i hear someone released a patch that makes the cyberdemon take damage from all weapons so im gonna track that patch down and hopefully it'll be a hell of a bigger challenge this time around :)
just installed the patch and went back to my cyberdemon save and...FUCKIN hell hes tough now, and on top of that u still got all the demons from the hellmouth coming at u, wish i cud record it but fraps really does suck for my laptop and hypercams too low a quality for doom 3
weapons in doom 3 are bulky as hell. the recoil must be huge and theres no need for all that bulk. and dont say "well mars has way lower gravity" that means the guns are lighter and thus the recoil should be tremendously worse

Most of the Marines in the facility were possessed and turned into zombies in the initial attack on Mars. If you watch the trailer that I uploaded, you can see a clip of the zombification process.
to be honest I used a flashlight addon for this game so I could actualy see in dark without constant weaponswitching that pretty much drived me crazy and in RoE there was this helmet that had flash light and he droped it I thought Ill kill him...

the whole flash light thing is a matter of opinion, the creators wanted to the force the players to make a choice, keeping alive what you see, or killing what you don't. "Where do you feel safest?, in the dark or in the light" If you choose the latter you will be open to attack, it shows more on the fact that you're never truly safest just because you see the road ahead. It's about strategy....besides that I hadn't found a roll of duct tape throughout the whole game, but I'm still looking.

I disagree -- if you are a Marine, you should know, staying alive at dire times like this is vital... like Doom 3.. you're bearing a hope for Kelly to make the transmission sent but, when you chose not to send it for the goodness of the Earth, Kelly was taken by Betruger to turn into Sabaoth and at that point, I felt like... FREE KELLY'S SOUL. So, if it's real... I think you'll be scared but, survive the attack.
I'm referring to the marine in ROE. Obviously, the girl with geeky glass (whatever her name is) and the marine died. The girl died because you shut off the life support system in one of the stages and the marine died after defeating Maledict. The white screen where the girl says "Welcome home marine" actually means they both go to heaven.

It is actually pretty easy, at least the Cyberdemon is. All you have to do is dodge his rockets and charge the Soul Cube and send it after him once it's charged. The Maledict is a lot harder, it has almost double the health the Cyberdemon has and its attacks are a lot stronger.
Sorry probs should said which last level I was on about, was on about Resurrection of Evil but I have played DOOM 3 and yeah the last level is really easy but the annoying thing was that for some reason I couldn't use the chainsaw for some reason. So the very last boss on Resurrection of Evil is harder than DOOM 3's last boss?
Yeah, for sure. Especially if you don't have cheats on. Maledict's attacks are a lot stronger and more frequent than the Cyberdemon's, and it has almost double the health that the Cyberdemon does. Plus, it can fly, making it harder to hit.
So when you took him on you had cheats on? I saw your health go down near the start of the fight but I noticed some points where I swear I saw him hit you and your health didn't go down
The marine in the original Doom 3 kicked ass, he soloed the entire base full of hell on Doom 3 by himself with everyone dead, being the only survivor at the end. I wonder what happened to him. Does it ever explain his character in ROE?
Doom 3 has 3 new monsters, including the Bruiser, Biosuit Zombie, and Forgotten One, and the 4 new bosses include the Berserk Hunter, the Helltime Hunter, the Invulnerability Hunter, and the Maledict (I have videos of the bosses on my channel). I think you have to have the regular Doom 3 for PC, but I don't know if you need to on XBOX.
I know I used God mode, but without the cheat, the Cyberdemon does 40 damage per rocket hit. Also, it was my first time playing, so I didn't want to get totally pwned. The reason I used the cheat again on the Maledict (the "bird doctor") was that it can fly, so I didn't know if I could even kill it in the first place.
There WILL be a doom 4. Because on the ending of resurrection of evil. It didn't show him home or anything. It was all in white. So there has to be a contimue of the game. But it would be cool if they made one where the monsters reach earth and you can use tanks and stuff.

No. Scientists opened a portal to Hell, and demons came out of the portal, onto the Mars base, and transformed all the humans there into zombies and other monsters. There's a cutscene of a scientist transforming into a Lost Soul, but I don't remember where exactly it is in the game. It's on YouTube somewhere, though.
The Maledict is way harder to kill. While it's flying, you have to hit it, and you have to hit a lot. With the Guardian, all you have to do is hit it's back with a full BFG blast and then blast the same spot with rockets. The Guardian takes about 10 seconds to kill, but the Maledict takes a lot longer.
No, you don't have to take out the Guardian's Seekers. If you kill one, it just respawns. Trust me, I tried it. And you do have the BFG; at least I did when I played it.
Isn't it, well when I play, you kill all the seekers the Guardian powers up the thing on his back to summon more seekers and that is when he is vulnerable to damage, by shooting whatever is on his back.

I disagree -- if you are a Marine, you should know, staying alive at dire times like this is vital... like Doom 3.. you're bearing a hope for Kelly to make the transmission sent but, when you chose not to send it for the goodness of the Earth, Kelly was taken by Betruger to turn into Sabaoth and at that point, I felt like... FREE KELLY'S SOUL. So, if it's real... I think you'll be scared but, survive the attack.

I'm referring to the marine in ROE. Obviously, the girl with geeky glass (whatever her name is) and the marine died. The girl died because you shut off the life support system in one of the stages and the marine died after defeating Maledict. The white screen where the girl says "Welcome home marine" actually means they both go to heaven.

It is actually pretty easy, at least the Cyberdemon is. All you have to do is dodge his rockets and charge the Soul Cube and send it after him once it's charged. The Maledict is a lot harder, it has almost double the health the Cyberdemon has and its attacks are a lot stronger.

Sorry probs should said which last level I was on about, was on about Resurrection of Evil but I have played DOOM 3 and yeah the last level is really easy but the annoying thing was that for some reason I couldn't use the chainsaw for some reason. So the very last boss on Resurrection of Evil is harder than DOOM 3's last boss?

Yeah, for sure. Especially if you don't have cheats on. Maledict's attacks are a lot stronger and more frequent than the Cyberdemon's, and it has almost double the health that the Cyberdemon does. Plus, it can fly, making it harder to hit.

The marine in the original Doom 3 kicked ass, he soloed the entire base full of hell on Doom 3 by himself with everyone dead, being the only survivor at the end. I wonder what happened to him. Does it ever explain his character in ROE?

Doom 3 has 3 new monsters, including the Bruiser, Biosuit Zombie, and Forgotten One, and the 4 new bosses include the Berserk Hunter, the Helltime Hunter, the Invulnerability Hunter, and the Maledict (I have videos of the bosses on my channel). I think you have to have the regular Doom 3 for PC, but I don't know if you need to on XBOX.

I know I used God mode, but without the cheat, the Cyberdemon does 40 damage per rocket hit. Also, it was my first time playing, so I didn't want to get totally pwned. The reason I used the cheat again on the Maledict (the "bird doctor") was that it can fly, so I didn't know if I could even kill it in the first place.

There WILL be a doom 4. Because on the ending of resurrection of evil. It didn't show him home or anything. It was all in white. So there has to be a contimue of the game. But it would be cool if they made one where the monsters reach earth and you can use tanks and stuff.

Actually, despite the "shoot everything" nature of the early Doom games, carmac (possible spelling error there) did have a pretty good story, the problem is it was only revealed through a book series written for the game(s). The "demons" are actually a race *or multiple races of aliens that visited Earth in the early days of humanity, saw our religious figures, - demons specifically, and decided to shape themselves in their image, with the hopes to return one day and conquer Earth through fear.

No. Scientists opened a portal to Hell, and demons came out of the portal, onto the Mars base, and transformed all the humans there into zombies and other monsters. There's a cutscene of a scientist transforming into a Lost Soul, but I don't remember where exactly it is in the game. It's on YouTube somewhere, though.

How would you compare the difficulty of killing the Maledict and The Guardian?

The Maledict is way harder to kill. While it's flying, you have to hit it, and you have to hit a lot. With the Guardian, all you have to do is hit it's back with a full BFG blast and then blast the same spot with rockets. The Guardian takes about 10 seconds to kill, but the Maledict takes a lot longer.

Yeah but when you fight the guardian I don't think you have the BFG. And you have to take out the spotlight things floating around it.

No, you don't have to take out the Guardian's Seekers. If you kill one, it just respawns. Trust me, I tried it. And you do have the BFG; at least I did when I played it.

Isn't it, well when I play, you kill all the seekers the Guardian powers up the thing on his back to summon more seekers and that is when he is vulnerable to damage, by shooting whatever is on his back.
