One of my regrets was not getting my black belt in Shou Shu I was about 6 months away, but politics always mess things up, I love the style and it helped with my confidence and helped keep me in shape.

Man shou shu was cool back in the 90s I was a wrestler and use to take down high ranks like nothing but they liked it cuz it improved their skills. Man the only guy I couldn't take down was Jones and he was like in his 40s he was a 3rd mongoose. 10 out of 10 times I could smash on everybody with just wrestling but Mr. Jones Mr. Jones was just a beast fast hands could never catch him.

oh yeah i forgot 1 important thing, i remember putting up curtains so no humanbeing can see us train, now our style is shown to everyone in a very slow sloppy BEER GUT ,BURGER EATING fashion if your gonna sho the style, show ur faces, take off the short sleeve put your gee on and look respectable to the art, if ur go show the technique to the WORLD ur gonna have to go hard and let them know YOU ARE HERE, i love you all but do me a favor and kick some ass and stop playin around!!!!!!!!!!!!

true none of these videos do any justice to this style, BUT ALL THE BAD ASSES FROM MOORES ARE GONE, wheres amus, runstein, shun shifu kreiger, most of these guys werent much while training, and have still yet to see a real fight most of the higher ranks now also have never fought before in a real fight or out of anger really hurt someone, not that ur supposed to, I hate to bag on you guys but ur destroying what shou shu is to me.

Admittedly, any video here only scratches the surface of its subject, but thats the purpose they serve. These good quality videos lend insight and inspire us to study more. Life is short. We can't afford to train in every subject until we master them all. But some subjects are smaller and less complex than others, like this one, apparently.

In this case, as an open-minded human with a short-life, I'm dismissing Shou Shu just as fast as I started to learn about it.

@andrewcalder012 First off yer an idiot. This vidoe is taken at a Camp the is held twice a yr. Hense the word DEMO. Meaning Demonstration. You want to learn a real martial arts then come to one of our studio's and say that to our face. So before you bag on our style go get yer ass kicked by one of us and then cry about it later until then shut yer mouth.

umm mist you tube videos on martial arts you find is Choreography if Im kicking a guys ass in the streets Im not gonna go wait lemme pull out my camera...and if you think Shou Shu is simple come take a free lesson with me and Ill show you how helpful kicking ass with no remorse is in a real fight against someone who wants to hurt/kill you...theres no need for fancy jumping kicks when you can break a guys knee and kick him in the groin in less than a second
