@Jrslip2 Yes, a strange phenomenon, the dislike thing. I've seen videos of some of my favorite musicians performing masterfully, skillfully, musically, etc, and it gets so many dislikes. I think people dislike for the wrong reasons.

@s9716458d Thanks. I'm familiar with MV and have some of their music, particularly with Thomas Pridgeon on drums. I'll look into. I've been putting off the more complex stuff, like Rush, jazz fusion, etc. until I covered the simpler tunes.

You could see what my hands are doing, but unfortunately my right bass foot is the only part you can't see as I don't have time to edit in another camera angle. @WazzzupWill Yea, well, you gotta play for the song, support the melody, the lyrics, the arrangement, it's not about the drummer, if drummers want to do solo and showy stuff there are other avenues to do that, like being a clinician and having people pay to hear & see you solo and display your chops.

@lsm234 I own two acoustic kits, a Pearl & Gretsch, used Ludwig for years, Play acoustic drums for 47 year and have access to 3 others at church on Sundays. I feel for you that you don't know what electronic kits are capable of and their versatility, ease of recording, etc., etc. Have you ever played a good one, say VDrums and triggering real drum samples?
