  • Yeah am very clean when it comes to my skin. I wash my face twice a day and before and after exercising. I have pretty much tried all of theover the counter acne product and nothing has worked. I am 22 so I saved a little money to finally go see a doctor :/.

  • I have acne and it has always been changing since I was 12 years old. I got my first menstrualc cycle when I was 11. I wanted to take accutane but now that I've research more I think I might have hormonal acne because I have various symptoms of hormonal imbalance. I don't know if to go to a dermatologist first or go to a doctor first.

  • @mi805 Acne happens because of, very specific mechanisms. You need to find out which ones are causing yours. First cover the basics like hygiene, proper diet and food allergies, than I think hormones. Your age has a lot to do with it. You need higher levels during child bearing years, acne is a side effect of this. It depends on how bad it is. Test your levels and if they are ok treat the symptoms only. Lots of people would be envious of good levels of hormone activity. See family dr first.

  • Progesterone Cream has helped me a lot, i will start on melatonin!
