hunters and ubermorphs are different altho they do the same thing. Hunters are made from humans but ubermorphs are not. and its overall appearance is rather distinctive and alien in nature, making it look as if it is a complete original organism and not just repurposed human remains

It also has the extreame regeneration so that can too be an explanation to the missing scars. Yes, it can also have been made from several dead bodies and parts but that still makes it a necromorph.

@MrGodzillahin The Ubermorph even acts different from the rest.The Ubermorph can be seen entering the EarthGov facility in Chapter 13 when Isaac removes the power to the bulkhead door, allowing the Necromorphs to enter and slaughter the soldiers.

Strangely enough, it is moving very differently to the Necromorphs around it. While the rest of them are charging wildly, the Ubermorph is walking calmly in the center of the charge.

The regenerating necromorph, aka Ubermorph, dont need to. Got it this time? Its head looks non human becouse it tries to resseramble the Hive Minds body.

My suggestion is that necromorphs go trough various stages before reaching the "uber" stage and becomes ubermorphs. That would explain why some are dark and stronger.

alone he is not a big threat but with some buddies he is alot more dangerous, then you just have to de-leg it and stasis it and focus on the others and not the ubermorph.

Very nice to see it played this way :-) Using the stasis on the floor is something new for me too.. (console version only?).

I have to say though: if you run through the two rooms after exiting the elevator, and you enter the zero G, then disable zero G again and go back to the room, the Necromorph isn't there anymore and does not return. You can then get all the goodies from the rooms.
