  • Ha look at 0:19 its not off, its just cycling SLI my ass

  • Tell Fred he shut it off to early you hill billy

  • This is soo not fake. Google it. Im sure this guy deals with it often, and the street lights will go out. I have about 15 of them go out on me, driving, in a matter of 10 minutes. This isnt a joke, or a cheap entertainment video...this is a fact. My dad has these lights go out on him to, along with street lights. Do your research if you dont believe me. Then, meet somebody that is a SLIder, and you will for sure believe this.

  • Nothing odd about that, that bulb has come to the end of its life and is cycling.

  • It went off before you went anywhere dude...

  • LOL I love this! I been noticing it ever since I been working night shift!

  • You did it a few seconds ago because you have figured out how long between cycles this burnt out HPS lamp needs to cool down and start up again, you freak!

  • Mercury vapor is more of a greenish white color by the way...and the way it was striking back on had the personality of a High pressure sodium than a MV.....also the streetlights uses the same lightbulbs as those...so that is why people THINK they did it...but no they are cycling.....

  • seeing how the lamp turns on...its actually a high pressure sodium...high pressure sodium fires up bluish and warms up to orange color...when those lamps go to end of life, they turn off and on and off....it is called cycling...which they turn on, but the lamp is so warn out they can't stay on and exquinshes....then after a few minutes it tries to turn on, and flickers then back to warming up and full brightness then back off...if this was really SLIDER you would be able to turn off every light!

  • At 00:18 you can see a faint blue glow inside the lamp. The bulb is probably "cycling" (gets too hot, the discharge goes out and does not restrike until it cools down, during this time you can see the starting electrode producing a faint glow) and the guy just had timed it well :)

  • This could obviously be a fake. There is no way that this could be proven unless it was with an actual street light. I don't know if this is true...
