Nice vid! Reminds me of those days. By '85 I had stopped breaking but was reallying into it from 82 to about 84. I bet these kids were housing it up by the 90's right? LOL! That was the progression of things in the good ol NYC :)

Todays breakers are far more advanced...however, we laid the foundation for what it is today. The Rock Steady Crew were our heroes of the genre back then. The NYC Breakers also were phenominal dancers. Thanks for the kinds words.

These guys were my crew...we were called the Funky Boys based in Kaneohe, Hawaii. This video is 22 years old.

The first guy who came out sits in prison for spouse abuse.

The second guy I havent seen in 20 years.

The third guy has his own line of skateboarding and surfing clothing.

The fourth guy is me...I now work with mental patients in a State Hospital.

The last guy is a drug dealer and if he's not in prison yet, he's headed there soon.
