@darthsideous1968 Dude, don't be dissin' the Atari! If it weren't for that thing that "sucked ass", the industry wouldn't be what it is today! You've obviously played some pretty bad games, but don't blame the Atari! Play some good ones like Pitfall! and definitely Pitfall! 2. Ghostbusters is a good game, Q*Bert's alright and whole tons more to have a good time! Do graphics really matter to make a good game? No. Game play does, and if you're a gamer, it should matter to you, too. 2600=milestone.

I agree with you that there were indeed some pretty decent games on the 2600 and I have played them, Pitfall being one of them.

I also agree with you about Atari 2600 being a classic and without it history may have turned out to be very different from what we know today so in that regard my compliments go out to Atari and plz forgive me if I pissed anyone off in my previous rant.

That still doesn't alter the fact that most of the sound effects on some of the games still totaly sucked lol!!!

You also can't blame it on that. The technology of yesterday could only do so much, and the 2600 was a very weak console indeed, but some of them are classic sounds that never get old! P.S. Forgiven.

It's amazing how each system that copied or tried to recreate the origional arcade look and sound of this game failed misserably. Thankfully there are several postings of this game with the origional arcade look & sound of this game on YouTube.

This version you posted is pretty close to the actual arcade look & sound but not 100%.

Some previous commenter said how neat it would be to play as the black marble..

It would be neat to be able to play as the Red Marble which is used in a 2 player game.

There should be a choice at the begining to choose which marble to use: The red one or the blue one.

And after winning the game, get the choice to play as the black marble, and maybe get to play all the levels in reverse!!

And play as the black marble, the blue and red marble could be the bad marbles to stop you.

Wow. You really never heard of this? I just remembered that it was one of the nes games that had to play the controller in a slight angle because of the 3D stages (well not as 3D as now, LOL). It was fun as hell though........=>
