Everyone says this song was scary, but even as a child, I never thought it was scary. I thought it was very sad- which resultet in me being always melancholic in Lavender town. Except for the tower, when those ghost totally crept me out when I was 10. Lol xD

@jovifcp Actually, it was an extremely high note in the original that hurt the kids undeveloped ears. This resulted in them going a bit crazy. The note would otherwise not harm the adult ear, which is why the parents had no clue why their kid was going crazy.
