  • Thank you so much for uploading this! I've been to Columbia Heights, loved the neighborhood... And cpl yrs. ago I started following baseball and picked Brooklyn Dodgers as my team. Greetings from Brazil.

  • this is an amazing cover. i love it.

  • I actually like this version, it's true to the original and the new lyrics are a solid testament to what Jackie Robinson meant to baseball and culture as a whole

  • Thanks - I appreciate your thoughtful comments.

  • not original. i hate it.

  • Not my favorite song on youtube but its not bad... only 3★ because it wasn't my type but it was still good

  • Because I produced this a part of a recording project I did called Go Get Your Voice - Songs of Freedom from the Olden Days. I have the rights to record my version of the song, but not to post someone else's. I also wrote a new verse that ties the song into the freedom civil rights movement. The original you can buy on iTunes.

  • why not play the other version of the song

the"black" version(im not racist but i think it fits better)

  • the original is jackie's game footage

  • I'm trying to find Buddy Johnson's hit "Go Upside Your Head with his sister Ella. It was my dad's favorite.

Want to hear it, hear it goes!

"There's no do right in you, I should have left you long ago,..................

That's why I gotta go upside your head,
