Ratm belong to the rap/metral crossover genre, Anthrax, faith no more etc etc were doing that style of music way before them. Political music was also in vogue. Skunk Ratm etc etc are not ripping anyone off, just showing influences in their roots. Political songs go way way back, look at artists like woodie guthrie, through to Dylan, Lennon, Christy Moore, Metallica to name four artists ... all bloody good though!

and this Skunk anansie track is from Stoosh (second album) released in 1996. More over, Ratm were together before Skunk Anansie existed. I'm not saying it's a rip-off or anything but don't say Skunk was here before. Anyway, they belong to the same era with Prodigy and we're glad they exist.
Something i have to say is I saw Skunk live in Paris 5 days ago and it was fucking awesome.
