I am 5'11 and my standing reach is 7'7 but my wingspan is average for height. Being a goalkeeper his standing reach is probably 7'11 so to touch the rim he needs 25 inches of vertical. To dunk he needs at least 30 inch. If his vert is 56 inch his max touch will be about 12'7. I agree that it is highly unlikely his vert is 56 inch but you're logic is wrong.

I agree 56 inch vertical, that cant be right, . someone do the math please. 5 '10 means that he is 70 inches tall. the rim is 120inches tall. 120-70= 50''. that would mean that his head would have to be over the rim HALF a foot. and so far i havent seen one dunk that shows that. guys an amazing dunker, but he shouldnt flaunt a 56 inch vertical!

All of that after 30 years...Just amazing.

At 33, he did the first 720 ever (but with a small ball) ans he still the only one doing the double windmill i ever seen.

sorry, but i don't believe that this guy can jump 56 inches. I bet they measured it from his hangtime, and that way you can cheat by bending your legs a bit. he maube has a 50 inch vertical jump. Air Up There has a 52 or 53 inch vertical jump, his 6'2 and he gets his above the rim while he does a 360 eastbay, and Golden Child has a 52 inch jump and he's 6'1 and gets his neck at the rim.

@EliasJordan3 the way his vertical is measured (as with everyone else) is that from a standing position you raise your arms to it's highest point as a control point, then the highest point you touch during your jump is the vert measurement. if they measure by hangtime, it would be pointless, meaning that a would record long jumper would have the vertical of 80 inches.... pointless. At 5'11 he sure gets his head level with the rim a lot longer than golden child, and further out too.

well someguys do it like they are standing still on some kind of a platform and jump and it measures the vert out of hangtime. and noway kadour has 56 inch vert and no way he gets his head higher than golden child. golden child deffinitely jumps higher, just look at his dunks, he gets his head over the rim almost everytime no matter what dunk he does, i don't know if i've seen kadour get his head at the rim. and if kadour has a 56 inch vert he should be able to do like 360 double eastbay or 720.

You're right about Golden Child getting up there, but they are different types jumpers, 2 footer and 1 foot leaper. Basically, Kadour used to have 56" leap, but not anymore... but still pretty good though.
