Well, yes. And while we must think globally, we have to act locally. That is, first find your network 5 km around you, such as shops, farmer markets, neighbours, family, and friends, of course. Then find ways to connect these people to one another, strengthening bonds and inter-dependencies. Then find your virtual network where you can nurture links, such as YT, Facebook, CouchSurfing, and IshThink. Nurture them just as much. Thanks.
From my experience, people are VERy frightened of each other (this applies now to even kids)--hence many feel need for booze, and drugs in order to 'cope' with people
How has it got to this we need to explore. I was on some form of drug since 10 years old! you know cigs, then booze, then cannabis, speed
So why dont we trust each other is important to dig. great video
You're 100% right. Modern society has pretty much removed our need for others. Sure we need others to manufacture goods, but we've lost the comradeship of working together for a common goal. I think that's why neighbors don't know each other and will easily become enemies if a total economic collapse were to happen. Homesteaders need to band together in our common goal of survival without poisoned food and water. Non-compliance by homesteading hurts them the most by taking their income away.
Very well said. We should start focusing on working for solutions rather than keep complaining. I know a few friends that have been complaining about politics and society for years, but they themselves don't want change their current relationships with society.
volume, speaks louder then words.

Yep, we all suffer from analysis paralysis. Now is the time to reconnect as the video says.
