  • @depthwave If you really have to ask how to bend an open ringing string, then I won't even dignify you with a response, because you obviously don't play guitar.

  • I completely understand the idea behind a string bender. But how does it really help your playing? Can you do more complex techniques since you don't have to bend the string? How does not bending the string manually improve your playing? Cant anyone do exactly what a string bender does

  • @okamasphere

Well... I dunno about you, but do you have 3 hands? how do you do a chiming bend, or bend an open string normally? you can't... b bender lets you... it also makes regular bending easier, so you are open to do other things with it...

  • I am not really much of a country fan but it sounds like playing this kind of music would be good for any guitar player of any kind. It seems as if this could be applied to most applications and end up working out in the long run.

    Thanks

  • I'm a big fan of metal but as of lately I've been really interested in these b bender stuff and country licks. I can't really stand all this country that's on the radio. It's too whiny for me but I really want to learn some of this stuff. Where I live it's either blues jazz or metal for teachers. Where do you recommend that I go to learn more? Thanks. :D

  • Would jerks come on this page to talk crap to this guy? He's doing all guitarists a huge, free favor posting a demo of this newfangled device.and he plays really well.so keep it to yourself with the insults.

  • Lot a rude people out there, you're playing a style of guitar that most metal heads, or no talent rock and roll guitarists could play. I love the sound of b-benders, and think you got it going on man, keep on pickin!

  • you are Andy, from According to Jim? Oo XD

  • Nice videos this you tube world just gets bigger every day! When you have time come visit my channel!

  • You could do some Michael Manring style stuff with that thing. Except it's not fretless.

  • great sound!!!!!

  • nice job man i like the playing, very good, how is the drop d on tht as well?

  • Can you put a B Bender on a Gibson hollow body???

  • hi i'm planning to install a hardtail hipshot in a vintage guitar whose bridge just crapped out, are the hipshots really worth their 100 bucks a pop?

  • what was that first riff you were playing?

  • @byrnside its a tune out the early 70s by Olivia Newton John called, "Let Me Be There".

  • @theJaydog you're a little bitch cause i felt like being an ass... bitch!

  • @P5ych00 you have issues

  • All these different versions of a Tele that I never knew existed! This is awesome! I would say they're better than Gibson's "Robot Guitar". This is something that acutally requires skill. Nice job.

  • pretty cool

  • Nice tone too!

  • liked it. GJDM.

  • the greats would be proud

  • Very cool.

  • I like the sound, and nice playing...

but something just seems wrong about a one string whammy bar.... so, so wrong.....

  • does the hip shot also does bending from the top strap holder?

  • how much?

  • friggin amazing dude!

  • Sweet man!! i love that tone....

  • sweet tone

  • do you need a special bridge?,

i was wondering, i have a baja tele with the 52 reissue bridge.

would it fit my 52 reissue bridge?

  • Im not a big hipshot fan

    I use a Glazer bender

    less movement,and more precise.

not a bad start though-get some

compression on that sharp fender tone

a little slap delay about 200-250 ms

and reverb, listen to will ray-hes the master

  • Sounds Good Nolan and your video inspired me to get a hipshot also. Thanks

  • HOW LONG!!!

  • nice playing....i just got one of these - looking forward to trying it out, need some new strings first!

  • Kinda looks like Bubbles on Trailer Park Boys!

  • Dude that is freakin awesome, you nailed it... where are the cats!

  • Haha!

  • try smiling

  • Awesome use of the b-bender. I think it's funny.. that's what my telecaster used to look like. Now look at it (check my Cherub Rock video)

  • nice playing, i got the same exact color you have but its a strat. what guage are you using?

  • Cool pete anderson licks :)

  • Yes, more country. It's a B-Bender and a Tele, what do you expect? Metal?

  • You are a douche bag. "I'm so trendy, I listen to generic 'indie' bands and leave comments on youtube about how much better I am than everyone else."

  • :S Im only looking for a tele with that playing style, im thinking of buying one.

  • LOL I AGREE> i hate indie

  • Comment removed

  • Great tones and playing man!

  • twang and bend dude... that's what it's all about.

  • Ive read alot about people putting a brass sadle bridge on their teles. What exactly does that change? Does it improve the twang or keep it in tune better?

  • I think it makes the tone better the way the strings vibrate through the brass. It's the way all the original tele's were.

  • yeeehaa cowboy!!

  • BOBBY HILL!! Play that geetar. yee haw

  • DOUCHE BAG!! Play that skin flute. Gargle gargle.

  • @nolan83 No white trash stereotypes in this video. These Low income "FOLK" mostly live in trailer parks, spend their tax returns on things like "Geetars" instead of clothes for their kids. People this specimen tends to be mouthy, getting in fights having his ass kicked frequently. Generally these type of people are uneducated bigots and have little concern for personal hygiene. Have grossly obese girlfriends, three or more non-working yard cars. To see these people at their best visit a Walmart.

  • but tune the guitar!

  • It was when I started playing. It was an annoying problem, but once I lubricated all the key points and adjusted everything, it stayed in tune.

  • Cool!

  • hey you're the jazzmaster country guy! i was youtubin' B Bender videos and found this. rock on

  • i dont even listen to country, but that was pretty neat...u really know how to use that b benger.

  • Nice playing mate :) You beat the crap of of that Gibson faggot

  • I thought that sounded pretty damn good
