I believe the whole "cannabalism" thing is just a metaphor.... the song's mainly about capitalism and the predator-like mentality people in the upper crush of society have towards those in the lower.
I miss these kind of songs by Lindsay.. I love the poetry and deeper meaning about the world and her life she had in her songs. Now.. In "FIELDED".. it's just hippie music.. Not saying I don't like hippies, but the music is just awful.
