Amiga - Indianapolis 500

With a mouse, the playability was fabolous. But it took me month to finally win the Indy500 in full race (500 miles).

This one was an absolute classic! I raced my ass off on this one. Those days amiga was so much better to play on than the pc ones.

I wonder why nobody switched the boost to 9. You can drive faster then. It's always at 7. But it could be that the engines overheats (except with the yellow car)

Classic game! I remember when i got 68030&6881 CPU expansion card to my Amiga 500, after installed this game could not be played anymore because framerate was way too high =)

I played it a lot.

I drove the Buick and one time i was first at 10 laps to end (200 laps), but i finished second. A crazy car of middle qualify position drove very fast and faster and passed me.

I remember the best way to steer was with mouse

I remember tuning the Penske to run good at 250mph and won often, but 200 laps, could not be assed with that.

Gran gioco, mi fa venire in mente i pomeriggi da piccolo insieme al mio Amiga. Avevo anche tanti altri giochi come Test Drive 2, Silkworm, Italy 1990 Soccer, Advanced Destroy ecc... Oggi il mio Amiga è morto, ma grazie all'emulatore ho ritrovato questo e tutti gli altri giochi che avevo!

You had to have graphics on low to get it to run smooth... in terms of handling physics it does better than games of today even!

March cosworth is the best car for finishing 1st in the 10 turn lap :D

But you need to set the car up. also as i could watch your temperature meter is incredibly low, i have to take care for mine since it sometimes go above 230°F

I used to have the pc version of this game, I used to turn off the damage and drive in the opposite direction to create mass serial crashes. Was very funny to look at the replay :)

Sadly I won the full 200 laps in all three cars. It took some doing in the March though I have to admit. I survived a tyre blow out in the Penske to win also.

I won the full race in both the yellow Penske and this the March Cosworth. The red Lola Buick always blew up on me. I ran it on an A1200 with the graphics turned down, it was ace. Anyone know where I can get a dowload for PC?
