GOOD FOR YOU! You are what you are honey! I have had Lupus for 17 years now. Started with discoid, moved systemic and then I got a RARE TYPE called VERUCIOUS which leaves wart like lesions on your skin. By the way I would kill for your moon face and SKIN! I have vitaliago around the lesions. I take no steroids. ( I do a burst if I flare), take an ocassional Ultram when it gets too bad. Laughed at them when they mentioned Kemo. ALOT OF THIS IS MIND OVER MATTER AND BODY. ITS IN THE LIFE ATTITUDE.

Hey just wanted to bring this up... do you think Michael Jackson was covered head to toe with his clothing because of the effects of his Steroid shots (if he got any)?? And do you think he was trying to cover his Moon Face by getting multiple nose jobs and other facial surgeries to counter the roundness?? Just a thought.... what do you think?

I've wondered about this 2 Pulling in of the cheeks, could have been to cover up steroids. They said he had a nose job early on but that due to the lupus would not heal right, causing multiple surgeries.... staying covered from head to toe is because two reasons... to hide the viitigo effects (otherwise he'd have to have makeup over his whole body at all times to make the skin tone look even). BUT with Lupus and Vitiligo the SUN flairs the diseases, you cannot let your skin be in the sun. Tx

LOL.. thanks.... I admit Idid keep bright liging on to cover the redness from my swelling but my fear is that , see, this isn't bad yet.. my face and body are still changing from the steroids and it's going to get really different... I'm scared about how some viewers later will handle that... cuz it's not pretty. ;) But, it is WHAT these diseases and their treatment IS about so I know I need to suck it up and show it as it happens...so that people can understand.
