actually Black Rock Shooter and Vocaloid are even further related... there is an ova BECAUSE of the song... the song came out first, they made the ova because of how successful it was.

The drawing black rock shooter inspired this song by ryo from supercell, which motivated the artist of black rock shooter to make the drawing look more like miku(and an original video animation was created based on that revised drawing), that's why miku and black rock shooter look alike.
