  • I'm so happy that new stars have rosen from far east in the sky of classical music. They bring a different approach to the howl enterprise.

  • when the waltz starts, i think its like this: the orchestra is the music, the bass clarinet is the male dancer, and the female dancer is the Bb clarinet. at the beginning at least.

  • like if the shy wrote waltzs wonderful!!!

  • conductor look like he is death but music is soooo alive!

  • @predoje The music IS so alive, but the conductor looks like death warmed over :o)

  • @jamieblond1 He just looks like that haha he really is an incredibly passionate and fun guy :)

  • so many colors. :)

  • 2:10 - wow... that violin part is heartbreakingly beautiful... so film-music like and sweeping...

  • The way they move with the music is really beautiful..

  • Ravel is my favorite composer, and this is my favorite of all of his beautiful compositions. Excellent rendition...neither too slow, nor too fast. I think it is the best version on youtube.

  • I love the beginning of this piece! I mean the very begining with the bass. It sounds like it was written yesterday....and I just happenned to notice that there are a plethora of beautiful women in this orchestra. It's not that I wasn't concentrating on the music ;)

  • @TheDavid2222 this beginning is not happy at all! is like the war coming... gloomy. And Suddenly the melody starts... I love it!

  • Nice stereo separation on this mix - wish it weren't compressed and encoded and such, cause this piece does span the spectrum from (ppppp) to FFFFFF!! ... but it's YouTube, whaddayagonnado, not the uploader's fault. This is a good orch.

  • This is probably the best version on youtube, though I'm not sure about live.

  • I love the oboe sound! XD

  • This is (in my humble oppinion) one of the most difficult piece to play. I thing that this work is realy good, congratulations all the orchestra and the master Myung

  • Maestro Chungs coming to Davies Symphony Hall to conduct this piece with the Phil de Radio France tomorrow. Looking forward to hear it!

  • what does have to do with the level of the orchestra???
