when the waltz starts, i think its like this: the orchestra is the music, the bass clarinet is the male dancer, and the female dancer is the Bb clarinet. at the beginning at least.

Ravel is my favorite composer, and this is my favorite of all of his beautiful compositions. Excellent rendition...neither too slow, nor too fast. I think it is the best version on youtube.

I love the beginning of this piece! I mean the very begining with the bass. It sounds like it was written yesterday....and I just happenned to notice that there are a plethora of beautiful women in this orchestra. It's not that I wasn't concentrating on the music ;)

Nice stereo separation on this mix - wish it weren't compressed and encoded and such, cause this piece does span the spectrum from (ppppp) to FFFFFF!! ... but it's YouTube, whaddayagonnado, not the uploader's fault. This is a good orch.
