Don't know about the book, but the way he's talking about his journey, it sounds incredibly dull. Honestly, fashionistas are pretty much the most boring people I've ever talked to. They repeat themselves, they use lots of hip meaningless buzzwords and they fail to see anything in context or in depth, including their beloved fashion industry. Sorry for generalising, but it seems to me that to be genuinely and constantly excited about overpriced clothes, you apparently have to dumb down.

For my 22nd birthday, I finally got a Birkin Ostrich I ordered 18 months ago. What did I do with it? I burned it. It was too feminine for me. I am now a big fan of John Lobb "man" bags.

Bringing Home The Birkin is an interesting and enjoyable book to read.

The hardcover copy is a gorgeous book you will want to display on your coffee table.

When you remove the dust jacket the cover looks like a shiny crocodile Birkin.

The paperback version will be released this year but I would still pick up a hardcover version for the brilliant cover.

i accidentally bought this book here in HK i LOVE the guy!!! He found the holy grail of Hermes can't stop reading the book. Now my son 14 yrs. old waiting for his turn to read and learn his business prowess.AWESOME
