use the sand coated for sea fishing prob.
you should coat them in darkeer colors to match silt and gravel etc

why do you coat your leads in sand and stuff?

you coat leads in sand etc to match the bottom you are fishing on. it camouflages and is harder for the fish to pick up any problems which arnt natural in their enviroment hope this helps

because if it was bright silver, the carp will be able to see it straigt away, and will spook off your rig
