You are a really good profesor, but how do you graph stars ? Because i really dont understand graphing stars since my teacher doesnt teach very well.
@Aljon1000 at any given point in a star's life it occupies a point on the diagram according to it's temperature and luminosity. the graphs are made of a large sample of stars in a cluster.
this was helpful but how do you apply it? is it a computer program or can you use it on paper? and do you need a telescope or can you use it with the naked eye?

I think the reason why the scale for temperature is in different way because it follow the scale of colour (OBAFGKM), so its from hottest to coolest.

Yes, exactly!
x-axis is not just a funny way of representing temperature and colour. It's just the normal visible E-M spectrum sequence. Short to long frequency.
