Gus was awful his 1st couple of years on the show. He was after Danny when no one suffered more from his family's life of crime than Danny did. He was also darn rude to Rick only because Harley was sort of involved with Rick and Gus wanted here. His involvement with Harley eventually mellowed him and made him a good guy. Bringing Eden to town was one of worse things Harley ever did.

These clips that you do are a treasure and I thank you so much for the time and effort you put into them. I do so miss GL and watching your profiles are such a welcome reminder of happier times when GL was a life staple. I appreciate you!!

Gus was a great character. Loved him and Harley together. Shame they killed his off.

I always felt at the beginning he was brought in to be Miguel santos jr but then when the audience figured out out before the show was ready they changed it.

Just not a warm and fuzzy feeling during this period and not good memories. Making Alex a drug dealer, Carmen Santos bs sucked up to much time on canvas. I liked the character of Danny, but it was when I hated what was happening to GL. The top brass of GL from Paul & Ellen was dark period and ugliest for me. I didn't recognize my GL after all the years being my favorite soap.

I loved the character of Gus & Harley, but the beginning of the end w\Killer K, and Ellen Wheeler's direction. GL was trying to compete against GH and mob stories under Paul R wasn't GL it hurt GL when they killed Gus off and no reunion for Gus & Harley, fans was cheated. After Phillip was shot after all the years enduring Paul R. reign and nonsense I stopped watching for about a 9 months but returned when hearing the cancellation. Harley gone no closure at the end sad my least fav period

Awesome! And one of my favorite Gus moments was when Alexandra and Eden were arguing about whether Bad Girl should be sex with class or sex as in beer straight from the bottle! "My Aunt and my Sister talking about sex...that's just ehh.. can we change the subject?!"
