I've met a lot of drivers at Daytona in July. Kyle was the most fan friendly and 2nd was probably Montoya. The biggest ass was probably Johnson. The guy didn't sign a autograph and practice was about 5 hours away so it's not like he had places to be. The drivers and crews are treated like they're animals. It's sad really. Kyle probably was in a hurry, so what?

The interview was done right at his hauler. That means he is in the garage area. In the garage area, it should be all business. You have to be 100 percent focused on the car, changes that need to be made, race strategy, etc. There are scheduled team meetings, the driver's meeting, etc. If he signs one autograph, he has to sign 50 for the next fans in line. And if there's shit to do for the race, the fans have to miss out. Poor babies.

Sometimes they even go too far, sticking the mic right in a driver's face the very second he gets out of the car for a quote about the guy that wrecked him. True, the fans do make NASCAR thrive with the money pumped in on merchandise, ticket sales, etc., but you've got to have limits. And he has plenty to work on. What "cheat" to use? What do you think this is a video game? Just punch in a code and you win the race?

I hate Kyle Busch too, but for different reasons. Some drivers want to be "In the zone," for the race, meaning that he wants to be 100% focused on the race. I think that might've been Kyle's little frustrating look. He wants to minimize distractions. I know it takes only a second to just get out a Sharpie, scribble on a piece of paper or Die-Cast car, and say, "Here you go," but when you do that for hundreds, maybe thousands of fans, it can get a little frustrating before a race.
Atleast Kyle took the time to give those autographs. Angry or not Its more than Jr. ever does. Every Year weather it be at Pocono Dover or WGlenn. Jr. ignores everyone.

What a ridiculous post. Kyle is one of the most fan-friendly drivers out there. He goes out of his way to sign autographs and take pictures with people. @jerswift2002 I agree, Kyle is a spectacular driver, and I enjoy watching him race, but he does need to be less of a hothead. That said, I have seen him mature significantly this year. Every now and then, he'll revert back to his old antics and I'll lose my respect for him, but I think his attitude is definitely improving.

Dale Sr might have crossed the line a few times, but Kyle has jumped over the line more than a few times. He just has no respect for anybody else and he's selfish. I've met a lot of drivers at Daytona in July. Kyle was the most fan friendly and 2nd was probably Montoya. The biggest ass was probably Johnson. The guy didn't sign a autograph and practice was about 5 hours away so it's not like he had places to be. The drivers and crews are treated like they're animals. It's sad really. Kyle probably was in a hurry, so what?

The interview was done right at his hauler. That means he is in the garage area. In the garage area, it should be all business. You have to be 100 percent focused on the car, changes that need to be made, race strategy, etc. There are scheduled team meetings, the driver's meeting, etc. If he signs one autograph, he has to sign 50 for the next fans in line. And if there's shit to do for the race, the fans have to miss out. Poor babies.

@jerswift2002 Interviews for TV and Radio broadcasts are inevitable. Sometimes they even go too far, sticking the mic right in a driver's face the very second he gets out of the car for a quote about the guy that wrecked him. True, the fans do make NASCAR thrive with the money pumped in on merchandise, ticket sales, etc., but you've got to have limits. And he has plenty to work on. What "cheat" to use? What do you think this is a video game? Just punch in a code and you win the race?

@jerswift2002 I've seen countless drivers walk away from autographs and refuse to sign them. Why? Because they're at the race track, they're thinking about what they've got to do for 500 miles, not what color Sharpie to use to sign this lady's diecast. Let me put it to you this way...you want a driver's autograph, catch him at an actual autograph signing either at the track or at a promotional appearance. At the track, in their face when they've got a race to run, all it is is a disraction.

I hate Kyle Busch too, but for different reasons. Some drivers want to be "In the zone," for the race, meaning that he wants to be 100% focused on the race. I think that might've been Kyle's little frustrating look. He wants to minimize distractions. I know it takes only a second to just get out a Sharpie, scribble on a piece of paper or Die-Cast car, and say, "Here you go," but when you do that for hundreds, maybe thousands of fans, it can get a little frustrating before a race.

He was leaving the track for the day, his fans saw he was in there, and literally stepped in front of his car like they were at Tiananman Square, forcing him to stop and sign autographs. So who's really to blame...it sure as FUCK isn't the drivers.

What a ridiculous post. Kyle is one of the most fan-friendly drivers out there. He goes out of his way to sign autographs and take pictures with people. He had a meeting he needed to be at, and didn't have time to sign autographs, but he did anyway. He wasn't rude or mean, he just didn't have time to be friendly.

@jerswift2002 I agree, Kyle is a spectacular driver, and I enjoy watching him race, but he does need to be less of a hothead. That said, I have seen him mature significantly this year. Every now and then, he'll revert back to his old antics and I'll lose my respect for him, but I think his attitude is definitely improving.
