Im struggling to get the plugin to work on Pro8. I always found it easy to do on previous versions, but no luck on 8. CAn anyone give me clear instructions please?

i need help, everytime i hit the "skin", "X/Y", "Bub", or "Play" button in the plugins.. the window always shows up, it says "Timelimit finished" so i cannot make the membrane.

how can i fix this?

@ditoarch06 that means that the plugin has expired. Soap skin has a time limit that requires you to remove the plugin, re-download it, and then re-install it. According to the site, the current release of SSB is set to expire on Apr 10, 2012.

@konstruct01 I'm able to get it to work fine on SU8. The tool does time out after about 4 months, at which point you need to re-download it and re-install it.

Please can some help ,,, I downloaded Soapskinbubble plug-in on my PC windows XP ,, Sketchup 6 pro ..... I installed exactly as the instructions when i downloaded from the original page download and the plug-in appear in my Sketchup ..... but when apply the same way exactly like in this vedio nothing happen and just create a straight surface without bubble .

any one can help me what's the problem ...... Please .

@abdboji it sounds like you got right up to the point where you need to press 'enter' for the second time, to turn the flat plane into a bubble. Hopefully that works, if not lemme know.

@igorsoares13 you would probably want to model that canopy in 4 pieces. draw the structure for 1/4 of the tent with the pencil tool and arc tool, and then use the rotate tool to copy that section around to get the other 3/4 of it.

I loved that.... Im brazilian and i work with Sketchup and i love it..... because is to simple to use..... I´m an Architect and it is so good to have Sketchup to work with... I just don´t Know so much how to do many things but definily it is the best program 3d in the world..... i´m still learning and i dont know how to render but i just love... anyway..... I've downloaded some from sketchucation but it does not work this way, Connect just faces with straight lines not even too good, does not create mesh....and no icon show up.

That time limit message means that you need to re-download and re-install the script.

I tried this so many times with no result. finally I found out , when you draw some lines, cubes and so on , you have to 'soften edges' then you can use this plug ins

@bahman1962 could you tell me how do you do 'Soften Edges'? Mine is SU Pro 8, when I opened the 'Soften Edges' window on SU, it was all gray out, so I can't make any changes... T_T Please help, thank you!
