What people seem to forget is that while he's a victim of the system, he's completely incapable of functioning outside of prison. What people seem to forget is that while he's a victim of the system, he's completely incapable of functioning outside of prison. That isn't to say it's right at all but he's been completely mentally denormalised. He's too violent to be let out. You can make all the excuses you want but at the end of the day a man like Michael Peterson will still be on the same path.
