Bro im a fellow Canadian and also an automotive artist, but a '69 Chevelle aint rare unless with certain options, engine etc. That second car is Laurentian and not a '59 Parisienne. Compare that convertible with the sedan and you ll see. If I can recomend an amazing book showing tons of pictures of old cars in all models, the "Car Spotters Guide To American Cars" is really your best bet, not great for our cherished Canadian versions...
@retroolschool the chevelle is rare enough to catch the eye of an auto enthusiast... even if it has crappy options, yes im aware that its just a 307, but anything old you come across these days is pretty good. anyway as for the pontiac, im telling you that is a parisienne im 100% sure.
We love the double tail fins on the Parisiennes. Nice to see all these cars lining up at the restoration shop.
Even sitting around someone's yard, on their wish list to fix up, is good to see. Just as long as they're not crushed... that makes us hillbillies happy eh!
@390merc65 yeah had no idea about its rarity when i filmed this, but not that i realize that its one of only 669 convertible models, i practically want to redo this
@badgerbuddy yeah,,they are rare ...and there should be a black stripe going from the front fender to all the way back to the S55 emblem ,,and should have the 428 in it as well ...and i think they came with factory power disc brakes up front..not a big deal today but back then it was a real big deal ...is this your car?
I drove past that place in in Inglewood last week and saw that 59 Parisenne Conv. at a car show by Riley park last Saturday. There is a big car show at Deerfoot mall every Wednesday.
