Droid can be totally customized.. change the keyboard, even the entire OS can be changed it takes about 10 MIN. and you can have anything you want for free, overclock the already fast processor from 550Mhz to 1.2 Ghz .
The iPhone is nice, simple and easy to use. The Android phones are for more flexible and customizable but not as nicely packaged.
The apps for Droid are growing every day. I have yet to not find something I needed.
Oh and the Voice navigation is freaking sweet... and its still only in BETA version.and its free. Friend tried the TomTom software on his iPhone 3GS and it was too slow to be usefull.
Changing wallpaper is not customization. Customization is adding functionality as per specific needs which can be done iPhone.

Why can't you access SAP server from Droid? Because Droid failed to pass the web security test. Iphone is the only phone along with iPad that can access as you do from computer after installation of SAP GUI.

You CAN save apps in the sd memory card in droid. big games like you mentioned DO get installed in the sd memory card. Files that are installed in the internal memory is just the information about that game(which is usually less than few kb) and the actual contents(data files) are stored in the sd memory card.

Third. You DON'T have to root your phone to store apps in memory card. So many android app developers are already making games in this way so that only executional files are stored in the rom and other data files are stored in the external sd memory card.

Droid display has yellow tint which looks so ugly.I didn't realize in the beginning but when I recorded something absolutely white i noticed it appeared as yellow.
I spoke to customer service they said, Droid has high color temperature, thats why it looks yellow but thats more natural.
Whatever they say I like white to appear as white not yellow.
If you take one picture, u need to wait at least 6 seconds before u can take the 2nd picture. Its horribly slow.

First off, iPhone fanboys please do your research.
1) Droid does have Pinch to zoom, but who gives a crap...
2) Google Adobe Flash and you will find out that Winmo and Android OS's are getting the upgrade soon but Apple chooses not to. I would choose a Winmo or Android phone before iphone for that alone.

Your arguments are weak. Go look at phonedog, gizmodo or engadget blogs that say you can't go wrong picking either the iPhone or Droid.. yes most of them say they would still pick the iPhone, but at the same time they say the Droid is the second best smartphone.
Another thing you'll learn from reading their in depth reviews is that they love the screen over the iPhone (text is clearer..video is amazing). they love the multi-tasking over the iPhone.. they love the notification bar.. and etc.

You say people complain about the virtual keyboard.. well guess what.. there's an app to change the keyboard into pretty much any format you want.
Droid can multi-task as in I can listen to music and browse the web at the same time or use many other apps at the same time.. iPhone doesn't (only browse web and phone at the same time)

On another note, you are very misinformed about the Droid.. You said "It cant read Barcode" That's wrong.. There are multiple apps for scanning barcodes.. even an app to store your rewards cards onto your phone so you dont have to put them on a key chain..
my mom likes the droid better because it has an easier to use virtual keyboard where as the iphone's virtual keyboard was to frustrating. The droid has both a virtual keyboard and a real keyboard. It has 3 different keyboards! Remembere though, Verizon has 5x more 3g coverage than at&t. I have Verizon and it's true that on at least most of there non- pda or blackberrys you have to pay for a few things you don't have to pay for on at&t.
Just google "Droid's Keyboard" every single person is complaining about it. Virtual keyboard is choppy. Touch screen is clunky. Its not just I am saying its all over the web. Why did sales dip dramatically after launch day.

I used ReelDirector and Downloader. I downloaded the video by iphone using app Downloader and then edited using app Reel Director. Both apps are available in App store.

Well the droid my sister has takes some great quality pictures unlike other smart phones Ive tried. Plus that higher resolution and bigger touch screen just kills the Iphone. Droid can be totally customized.. change the keyboard, even the entire OS can be changed it takes about 10 MIN. and you can have anything you want for free, overclock the already fast processor from 550Mhz to 1.2 Ghz .
The iPhone is nice, simple and easy to use. The Android phones are for more flexible and customizable but not as nicely packaged.
The apps for Droid are growing every day. I have yet to not find something I needed.

iPhone takes better picture than Droid. Droid has annoying yellow tint. GPS app on iPhone is much more advanced with live traffic and iPod integration.
Droid cant even download video directly. Android has few thousands crappy apps.

Today during Google Nexus One event, Android lead Andy Rubin said to press Android is going to release a software update that will take off the cap of 256 MB. So Android top management dont know but YOU KNOW that apps can be saved on Memory card.
Only way to store apps on Memory card is to root it BUT then its similar to Jailbreak.
Android has put this limit because if it lets you install app on ext.memory, it can be easily pirated.

Droid display has yellow tint which looks so ugly.I didn't realize in the beginning but when I recorded something absolutely white i noticed it appeared as yellow.
I spoke to customer service they said, Droid has high color temperature, thats why it looks yellow but thats more natural.
Whatever they say I like white to appear as white not yellow.
If you take one picture, u need to wait at least 6 seconds before u can take the 2nd picture. Its horribly slow.

There are 11 pages to add any link to website, move the beautiful app icons,add webapps, change the wallpaper, make Ringtones of your own voice or any MP3 songs and assign to contact, u can have app as per your need. This is called customization. Technically backward Droid has only 256 MB for apps and three pages for ageold rotten Widgets. It cant download video. You cant talk and browse on 3G. U need 2 pay 4 visual voicemail.

Droid is technically bankrupt phone which cant even store apps over 256 MB. It cant download video directly,cant play HD video.
internet browsing is choppy. Zooming is pokey. none of the app has any class. the best twitter client is worse than the worst twitter client of iphone.
Worst is you can even make SKYPE out without calling a local no. on Droid.

First off, iPhone fanboys please do your research.
1) Droid does have Pinch to zoom, but who gives a crap...
2) Google Adobe Flash and you will find out that Winmo and Android OS's are getting the upgrade soon but Apple chooses not to. I would choose a Winmo or Android phone before iphone for that alone.
3) I like iphone for being the phone to beat because it challenges every other company to make something even better. This is a benefit to the consumer

Droid is good for nothing. Android has a planing of getting everything on cloud which is, at the moment, not working.
You cant store apps on memory card which is a big disappointment. There r some major issues with hardware. Touch screen is jagged and Camera focus is terrible.
Just google GPS problem Droid.

As per the commercial Droid looks promising but performance wise it fails. In commercial it doesnt say that when you TRY TO USE SKYPE, it actually force u to call a local no. from there u redirected.
Droid has better res i agree but whats the use? video player is ugly to limit that demon from the hell finds himself pretty when compared to it.
And when u try to transfer a 1GB movie to it, it takes forever.
when you try to stream video off the web u find it can play video only from YOUTUBE.

Your arguments are weak. Go look at phonedog, gizmodo or engadget blogs that say you can't go wrong picking either the iPhone or Droid.. yes most of them say they would still pick the iPhone, but at the same time they say the Droid is the second best smartphone.
Another thing you'll learn from reading their in depth reviews is that they love the screen over the iPhone (text is clearer..video is amazing). they love the multi-tasking over the iPhone.. they love the notification bar.. and etc.

I personally think Storm 2 is the second best. BB has proved over the years it has solid OS.
Droid has high resolution BUT there is no use. You cant get video on it. Video Player interface is terrible. It cant download a thing by itself. It cant play video off the web accept youtube.
Strange part is all these things are still HIDDEN. I think they have done excellent marketing.
You cant even use VoIP properly on this phone. This is the epitome of extreme greed of Verizon.

iPhone is good at multitasking but its just didn't highlight it .
iPhone has many ways to customize through apps, through wall papers , by moving icons and many more.
Droid on the other hand does nothing which is remarkable on top of it, it underperform on age old features.

Oh and if you knew anything.. you would notice that almost EVERY single website out there is praising the Droid and saying that it beats iPhone in many ways, but that the iPhone also has some clear advantages as well.. and they end on saying that both are great devices and that you really wouldn't go wrong picking either device.. but for a guy who is about tech savvy products.. i think i'll pick the droid.. until the iPhone can play catch up in the market of multi-task, widgets, and customizing

Every website was giving rave comments coz they expected a lot by Droid. They got carried away. BUT now things have changed. The dramatic dip in sales says everything.
Droid has only three pages. How many Widgets and Apps you can add?
It has only 256MB for app. And total ROM is only 512 MB.
So forget about any quality App.
You just geot carried away by Droid's commercial.
iPhone can do MULTI TASKING better than DROID.

Multitasking-it does many things simultaneously.

You say people complain about the virtual keyboard.. well guess what.. there's an app to change the keyboard into pretty much any format you want.
Droid can multi-task as in I can listen to music and browse the web at the same time or use many other apps at the same time.. iPhone doesn't (only browse web and phone at the same time)
Droid also has widgets.. have fun surfing through menus to turn on and off wifi while I can have a widget that lets me do that with one click on my homescreen

I have used barcode reader app on Droid, that takes 9 second sometimes 20 seconds to read the code that too wrong.

my mom likes the droid better because it has an easier to use virtual keyboard where as the iphone's virtual keyboard was to frustrating. The droid has both a virtual keyboard and a real keyboard. It has 3 different keyboards! Remembere though, Verizon has 5x more 3g coverage than at&t. I have Verizon and it's true that on at least most of there non- pda or blackberrys you have to pay for a few things you don't have to pay for on at&t.

I used ReelDirector and Downloader. I downloaded the video by iphone using app Downloader and then edited using app Reel Director. Both apps are available in App store.
I agree my video is not something great or even mediocre but atleast you can do some kind of editing.
But there are more apps on iphone that lets you do Slow Motion , different video filters , special effects and also Reverse.

This is something Droid can't even think of.
Apps are available in App store like Downloader iDownload iWoppie Download Manager etc.
iPhone can also convert any video format on Air and play the video while converting so no need to worry about video format and conversion software.

iPhone 3G S has superb macro lense . It reads all bar code perfectly but Droid fails here too. All phone takes few seconds to focus.Droid takes 20 seconds.

You cant talk and surf because of Verizon = CDMA Evdo Rav A cant do both at the same time unlike Tmobile and ATT. Well at least Droid is on a good 3G network unlike the Iphone on at&t. Apple iphone= I suck unless im Jail Braked. I can care less but at least my Touch Pro 2 on Sprint gets me 3g almost everywhere and doesnt drop my calls.

Borrow the phone from ur sis n do one thing. Bring a text close to Droid and let it do auto focus. If you get satisfied with the quality n you think that picture can be converted into PDF for a professional FAX. I will take my words back.

Yes, iPhone 3G S can download anything from internet including RAR files. IT can even extract .ZIP files.
It can download video in any format and u dont have to worry about changing the format just hit play, it will play. It changes the format on AIR. It can download and play 1080P
there r apps for everything. 90% of them r FREE.

I can call anywhere in US on iPhone for FREE using free app on iPhone. Droid doesnt even support VoIP. Even Skype doesnt work on Droid properly.
Verizon has better coverage but At&T is getting there. It has grown significantly from the last year.
Personally I have never had any problem with AT&T service.

U simply don't understand the tech.Droid cant let u STORE APPS on MEMORY CARD. Even IF you put MEMORY CARD of 2GB , U WONT BE ABLE TO SAVE APPS on that.
DROID lets u SAVE APPS ONLY on INTERNAL MEMORY.
INTERNAL MEMORY OF DROID=512 MB
Allotted SPACE4 APPS:256 MB
Just Google Droid cant have apps over 256 MB.Its all over the net.
u cant talk n surf the internet together on Droid if u r using 3G network. A phone cant be called smart phone without this feature

Hmm this seemed to be the iPhone almost 2 years ago. No 3g, no mms, no video recording, no apps....... and all the fan boys said it was the best smart phone. Wow fanboys these days. Htc HD2 kills everything including the Iphone. Throw in Skyfire and lets you do anything online.

You check the facts. You are not getting it. I know you can have a memory card 32 GB BUT you cant store APPS on MEMORY CARD. Apps can be stored only on the allotted internal memory which is just 256MB.

true, Android doesnt allow app to b stored on SD card. it can b stored on internal memory only, internal memory is only 512 mb.256 mb is allotted for apps.
iPhone has amazing TV out features. which is not supported by Droid.On iPhone u can play movies on website and watch on TV. There are many websites that r supporting full length FREE movies for iphone.
who cares for open development when u have 100,000 apps.
android has open but it doesnt have any quality apps.
iPhone 3G S rocks.

It does matter what is storage capacity. But it's Android limitation that you can store only in 256 MB regardless of the size of memory card.
And you can't have more than just few app in 256 MB.

its right u cant store aaps on memory card its limitation put by Android. Not only Droid .none of the Android phones can store Apps on Memory card. So size of memory card becomes irrelevant.
it doesn't support software 2 manage media which is a big let down.drag n drop?poor interface for music n video player is poor.
google earch n many website looks so bad on Droid. i m better off with iPod Touch n regular phone.
I call anywhere in US for FREE by my iPod Touch.coz there is an app for that.

um yea also droid comes with a 16 gb REMOVABLE storage card which kills the non app havin thing....what would posibly make you think that they ship a device with an app platform that can only download one app!!! the only thing i can truly give you is the talk while doing anything thingy,,, i love that. then again the droid has open developement so someone could just as easily make an attachment for that to work

No, actually another so called iPhone killer killed itself. After 1 st week not so bad sales it has taken nose dive. People have figured out it's horribly slow focus. It talks about Multi tasking and it won't let you talk and surf the web together on 3G.Droid does nothing but making false claims. It records video only @ 24 frames/ sec n call it DVD quality.
