Who could forget the rain on the home end of the line as a call came in informing the caucusing party had arrived in New Orleans. Unforgettable since the call was kept short as a hellishly fierce (the fiercest ever?--it gets consideration), intense electrical storm rolled through the home area. Unrelated: the 1981 split; 501 E. 16th; "that" NC 561 community; CBS News' Harry Smith turning 66 the day the United States next experiences a total solar eclipse--8/21/2017; Jarreau's Yo’ JEANS v. GENES
the best thing that happend to new orleans during that time. is when the soldiers was holding people with guns this african american general stepped in and told them to put their damn guns down and he took charge and got things done more in one day than the entire gov could do in a week. god bless him and everybody who was in that storm.
