  • *PLEASE HELP ME*

Im 16 and not the best kid. gotta couple ticketss no drug charges but an assault ticket a trespassing ticket and failure to appear or some dumb shit. I want to go to this class soon. I turn 17 in march. Will these tickets fuck me over, when should i go tothis class? when im 17 or should i wait a little. and also . i know this is a weird quesiton but do they let you smoke on the airplane or smoke at all?

  • @covington55 You should be okay... You can't smoke on the plane... ever.

  • PFC Sword- 35M, could you tell me what airborne is like as far as freedoms. More like BCT or AIT, cellphones and such banned in barracks? I'm guessing weekend passes are definitely not there also..? Just a little curious about ANYTHING you could tell me bout airborne.

  • I'm signing next week hopefully everything going well and I will be choosing infantryman (11x), can't you choose what unit you want to be in before you go? Like aren't there specific units that require you to go through airborne school? I need some help ASAP, want to be prepared before I sign. Thank you.

  • I think this is the funnest anyone has had in a training school or at least funner than ranger school

  • Us Canadians do it so different we only pop one canopy release.

  • I believe this is where the BUDs graduates go after they complete BUDs.

  • @Dreaklock Thats what I have wondered.. I remember the seals all came in about a 20 or so man unit for jump school and never strayed apart.. they all wore gomer pyle type olive drab.. I thought that was cool..The school was so fast for me (Us Marine recon) I never got to talk to one.. We.. Us marines were not bunched as a strict unit like I saw them.. we got weekends off to go to bars ect..I think the jump school part was part of their BUDs training for the seals-no freedom..like USMC boot camp

  • what do Infantry do when there not deployed and just working at a base?

  • im definetly interested in the 82nd airborne unit. Can I sign up for it as my MOS and get it guaranteed?

  • @sylux688 82nd is a division not an MOS, and you can't get any division guaranteed. Pick an MOS and get airborne school in your enlistment contract there is a good chance you'll go there or 25th ID ABN or 173rd or whatever. To everyone out there, recruiters are the best people to ask all your questions not random youtube users. Airborne school is a lot of fun and then again not fun at all lol, but one of the best accomplishments you will ever achieve.

  • i want to go to airborne school after ait, iwant that air assault patch.also working out really hard because i want to be a army RANGER "Rangers Lead The Way"

  • i want to go to airborne school after ait, iwant that air assault patch.also working really hard because i want to be a army RANGER "Rangers Lead The Way"

  • is it almost like a compitition?? Because your laughing

  • dont you get a Airborne Ring when u graduate/pass the class

  • @MrStarvy Jump Wings

  • no rings?

  • none that i know of but who knows ill find out in august =)

  • im gonna join the PSYOP airborne

  • you can have any mos and be airborne a cook truck driver anything a nurse you just wont get any post mostly ft bragg if your lucky you can get special ops they have a whole support batallion dedicated to the special ops forces or you coold get special forces and not be a green beret its not just infantry. special ops has toggles though its awsome

  • looks like funn slideing down the grass

  • I'm going there this fall but after airborne school does that mean I'll be put in an airborne unit or will it just be any infantry unit?

  • It doesn't mean you'll go to an airborne unit but there's a good chance you will.

  • Can a Cavalry Scout go Airborne

  • What MOS did you sign up for? Airborne is just an additional skill, required for some units, not in others. If you didn't pick your unit upon signing, odds are with Airborne training you're going to my old post Ft. Bragg, or Ft. Campbell..sounds like you didn't plan too well. Good luck :) AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!

  • you can only go to bragg 101st is air assault they ahave a school , you can also go to ranger school or sf guys go to this school b4 the q school

  • Do all the branches go here for airborne training?

  • Yeah, army, air force, marines, and navy.

  • @savingpvtbryan Figured that myself saw some Marine BDU's in there thought it to be a little odd at first.

  • yes all branches its in GA. USA im going there right after basic. LOL if i dont die in basic im a old sucker 30 HAHHAHAHAA

  • It's mostly all in your mind. There's a video on Youtube of a 35 year old man making Army Rangers which is exponentially harder than Airborne School. lol, the dude got bit by a brown recluse during it and fought thru infection despite the medics recommending him to drop out.

  • the navy has thier own jump school now for SEALs. its 4 weeks and they learn static line and free-fall parachuting at it. but before that the navy did send their SEAL canidates who had completed BUD/S this army airborne school.

  • Yea, when I went we had Air Force, Marines, Navy, Army, Cadidiots and Brits. The other forces just got qualified then went on for specialized training with their own.
