I didn't get it then too much, but I can see where she is coming from now. The musicianship really saves this song bigtime.

I can only speculate what my parents where thinking when they came into the room and they saw their 4 year old kid listening to this song. It was a different time, a different era. I will say even though I didn't really get it back then, it was somewhat interesting and you got to give them props for trying to experiment.
@jamesspeculator I think we ended up on opposite sides of the house from the parents in those days! And having John and Ringo playing,and Klaus Voorman on bass, made Yoko's "Plastic Ono" album a one of a kind work of art. Of course,as kids, all that we knew is it sounded pretty wild and primitive.
I'm not sure what to think of this..
