This isn't the 12" I used to play in clubs. I remember a sample at the beginning of Elmer Fudd saying, "And now it's time to introduce our soloist, the remarkable" *next sample* DJ Debonaire. Of course that was 30 years ago, and my memory isn't what it used to be. LOL
anyone know these lyrics" i got speakers in my ceiling, speakers on my wall, speakers in the toilet so i can feel it all. no im not crazy or insane...." bass vibration... whats the name of that song and where is maggotbrain???

In those days in Holland we already were dazzled with all the new styles that kept on hitting the scene.
These guys sure knew their classics. A very tastefull mix of all kinds of bits and pieces from everywhere. Freeéz, Hashim, even Kraftwerk? Some moviescenes..
Especially the piece from Star Wars was só original! It still is.
Nobody could sample something from Star Wars from that day on without being an imitator;)
@Therealanimale temptations-cant get next to you, disco 4 - stomp stomp clap, nairobi- soul makossa, Invisibles- donkey kong, Kraftwerk- numbers, Disco 4- at the party, Tlarock-it's yours, Midintght Star- Freakazoid, Jonzun Crew-Electro Boogie, Hashim - Al-Naafysh, hope it helps

This has not stood the test of time. Very cheesy and corny scratching nowadays. No wonder this style died. And why would you list it under "acid house"? Thank GOD Acid house Djs had better taste than this.....
What ever man. Meggotron was one of the originators of bass mechanics. You need to rcognize. What are you compairing it too? Your a dumb ass if your compairing it to todays hip hop. Cause like all pioneers. They were the ones brave enough to excperament and creat. What are you talking about?
yeah the music past the 80s is mostly cooled space junk, the molten rocks were closer to the technological and social big bang of dance and rap, like with any genre the best are the ones near the start, the rest is space junk with a short lifespan
Oh my god dude...i can't believe someone posted this. Good stuff mann. Brings back so many great memories of great times. You'll never get that vibe nowadays. I'm glad i was there. And i was spinnin' this.
