well you would need a much bigger tank and leo geckos can get very expensive. you should get a panther gecko because you can fees them fruits or bugs. also leo geckos are a little more expensive than panthers

@mvsteeves first of all its female panther geckos that only live 2 to 4 years. The male panther gecko can live to 10 years. i say you should get a panther gecko

Well fist you should do your research because they need to be housed in at least a 10 gallon tank! There is more to having these types of geckos then you think, they can also become very costly. But I would say a leopard gecko there very cute i have 2! good luck!(:

It depends what you want,

a leopard gecko tend to live longer usaly 10-25 years,

and a panther gecko female will only live 2-4 years,

so telling by your a kid so i would go with a panther gecko cause belive me you don't want that kind of responsability unless you are super commited to it

and even if you are commited i would deffinitly get a bearded dragon

but over all i think that a panther gecko is a better choice, but do some research about all the choises, to find which 1 is right 4 u

i've had both and my leopard was really aggresive sometimes and my panther gecko was ok. i no have a golden gecko and they are really nice and love being held. they are much nicer and i love her so much. btw they are all really expensive with the lights set up heat ect. your better off sticking to the fish. plus they live 15-30 years so BEWARE. THEY ALSO CARRY SELMANELLA WHICH CAN BE DEADLY FOR YOU SO WATCH OUT AND WASH YOU HANDS WHENEVER YOU TOUCH ANYTHING OF IT'S

panther gecko is a much better choice because they look way cooler in a desert habitat and there smaller so you can get more than 1 and they look way better than any old leopard gecko non-morphs and there easyer to take care of!!

i havent had 1 but i have been like researching them so tht i will no as much at possible when i get one in a while but i havent heard tht yet

i just like the panther geckos cuz they r small nd dont take up a lot of space

although if you have unlimited space and u would like to hold the lizard i recommend getting a bearded dragon

they do get big so u have to have space for a 125 gallon but i have read tht they r more adapted to humans so they will let u pick em up alot and pet em
