GaGa and her contemporaries are always trying to "push the envelope" by shocking people. If these people wanted to shock people and push the envelope, they'd do what Andy Gibb did. The music industry wouldn't know what hit them. Andy didn't have to shock people. He let his talent do the work and put himself out there. People dug it and he became successful.

I must write, if you listen to all the disco songs sung by the heart throbs in the seventies: Leif, Shaun, David, Donny etc, (excluding Michael Jackson) I think that Andy Gibb was the best of the bunch musically. Shadow Dancing, written with brother Barry, hits the artistic quality of the disco sound coming from a heart throb. I was into Shaun Cassidy and missed out on Andy Gibb. Like any genre of music, there are really good artists and really bad. Too bad Andy did not fully appreciate it.
