  • I keep telling people Twilight is so much better

  • @OhLawdyLawdy That's why you need to keep telling them, because it's rubbish compared to Harry Potter. Get over it.

  • @BleakDisc haha it's called sarcasm. Get over it.

  • @OhLawdyLawdy id rather die than watch that shit about a slut fucking two guys

  • The reason they didn't have the battle scene at the end because the didn't want to make it repetitive when the deathly hollows comes out. Other than that i thought the half blood prince was a good movie and good review

  • btw the screenwriter for ootp was different than hbp, get yo facts right biotch

  • Were you crying toward the end , where it was edited out? Your skin looks all blotchy and red were it would be if you had been crying. And the thing with harry standing underneath malfoy and the other deatheaters when he could have been made invisible is just pathetic!!!!

  • Hey kid, it's me, the director of the Half-Blood Prince. Just wanted to let you know that you're a colossal faggot. Never speak again. In fact, kill yourself so you will never get to see my amazing films again.

    xoxo

  • Tevyk: doubt it :P

  • this why you never reread the book before watching a movie..

  • umm i was sum wat disappointed 2 -__- it didnt follow the book watso ever at least follow it at least a bit i remeber in when i finished watching the movie i was like..... w...t...f... i know i want my 7 bucks bk XD

just hope the next movie is better i guess

my fav movie is always the goblet of fire idk y or the order of the phoenix

  • The battle at Hogwarts wasn't done because of the big battle in the seventh book. It was stated in an interview that they want the seventh book's battle to really blow everyone out of the water, and having a hogwarts battle in the sixth movie, would take away from what they want to do in the seventh. I agree that it would have been cool to see the battle, but don't get down yet. Movie seven's Hogwarts battle will measure up there with the Battle for Helm's Deep :P (LOTR reference)

  • Well, we'll have to wait until the second part of movie seven before we can see the battle. :(

  • How is the Order of the Phenix your favorite movie!!??? Its the worst. It was the longest book and the shortest movie. Prisoner of Azcaban is the best movie.

  • totally agree with everything you say. Those lessons with Dumbledore are so crucial to the overall story... sucks that they didn't invest much in that.

  • i think, you and harry potter should have a baby, because it would be a beautiful baby.

  • yea, the burrow scene was a bad idea because it IS their hiding place in Deathly Hollows. Wonder what theyre gonna do with that for the next movie

  • i hope that they dont cut the scene with mrs weasley and bellatrix battleing - cant wait for that in the last one

  • I agreee! i was so looking forward to the battle scene, but they cut it out.

    your cute :D

    haha.

  • Yeah I really agree. I definately prefer The Order of the Phoenix. This was certainly the funniest film so far but not the most exciting!

  • Can someone tell me why they called this movie the Half-Blood Prince based on the movie alone? Can someone also tell me the point of the death eaters arriving in Hogwarts if there is no battle? Can someone tell me the point of Fenrir Greyback since he never talks or is ever acknowledge as a werewolf? Can someone tell me how Harry and Ginny can get through the flames and none of the experienced members of the Order can? Most importantly, can someone tell me where my nine bucks went?

  • YES.

    thank you.

Anyone who says the movie was great never read the book.

The movie had no suspense they just spoon fed you what Malfoy was doing.

I know they cannot include everything from the book, but why do they add so much shit (i.e. the train station scene, the burrow burning, room of requirement kiss, the list goes on and on)...

They made a joke of the best book in the series.

  • Your review is spot on. Well...I read the book years ago and I couldn´t remember much, but then again I´m more of a HP movie fan than a HP book fan. And as a movie...it sucked big time! I left the cinema wondering if I´m gonna watch the final part. I´m from Brazil and I can assure you everyone I know here didn´t like this film aswell.

  • i COMPLETELY agree with you!

    especially

    -the opening

    -deatheaters at christmas

-battle scene = it made me mad, i wanted to CRY, its the pinnacle of the novel, they handled it SOO BADLY everything about it, i was anticipating it it SOO BADLY and it was an insult to Dumbledores death and the chapter in hbp itself! and yes totally agree on the body bining curse or whatever he used.

comedy wasnt to bad, but i didnt enjoy it either.

    GREAT REVIEW DUDE!

    xxxxx

  • I don't feel dissapointing at all, the movie was awesome. Your review just sucks.

  • If you want an action movie, watch Transformers but harry Potter is about growing up and becoming independent. Youy might have misinterpreted something. The action issecondary, the story is important.

  • And why cant they make growing up and becoming independent with more action, this movie was like a romantic comedy with a dramatic ending with a few action. I think they could have done it better.

  • Thebook is explanatory. there is fr less action than in the other books. so it's normal. They must set things up for the last book adaptations.

  • U r soo wrong if u think it's gonna be for kids. This movie is easily the darkest yet.

  • its sad you like The Order of Phoenix the best out of all the movies. OofP was the longest book and you know they left SOOO much out of the movie. Id say Order was the worst of the bunch. The only good things about Order was Dolores and the final fight scene. Stick to your action movies, thats the only reason you didnt like the latest HP movie. Plus you look like a gay douche bag lmao

  • dude i had to stop watching your video you sounded stupid. your forgetting how movies based on books are made. not EVERYTHING will be in the movie otherwise the movie would be like 5 hrs long. Pat yourself in the back that you read the book before the movie, all the movies dont follow the books 100%. And that comedy you talk about...thats the characters growing up with love in there minds. Do you remember how old these characters are? We did funny thing when we were young and in love.

  • yaarr, i aint red da bookks yea but i fink dat da movay was shizle blud, i wanna go kill mashelf coz lyke it was stinkinn !

  • Thank you for expressing exactly how I feel about this movie. I haven't read any of the books so I went in to see this movie only seeing the trailer for it. It appeared to be action packed with a good story line. People are saying this was the best movie. How I have no idea. Everyone sitting with me in the theater were like what. It became boring and very long winded. I kept expecting the good guys to at least fight back with some sort of plan of action anything. No such luck the end.

  • ...what i want to know is from where the scene at the burrow came??? and yeah, i did that too. i reread the book, and then i was like uh... it was soooo weird.

  • Yeah the lack of action is the biggest problem I had with the film. As well as adding in useless stuff and leaving out important parts, like the Gaunt family/learning more about the horcruxes. The comedy wasnt too overdone. But for a book like HBP Idk I just think it should've been a bit darker.

The battle when they broke into Hogwarts was pretty much non existant.

But itwas in no way was it horrible.. they just shouldve had more action instead of comedy/seemingly rushed Harry Ginny romance.

  • Does it need to follow it perfectly so who care's atleast they're trying atleast they have a story its probery better then the others im seeing it tuesaday.

  • it wasn't the same screen writer as OOTP, its the one who did 1-4

  • well said ...

  • You've captured some of my thoughts, too. I've done two 10 minute videos on it; check it out if you're so inclined.

  • Well SPOKEN!

  • im kinda upset that they didnt include dumbledores funeral. they should have put in that scene instead of the scene where the burrow was attacked.

  • Dude, I agree with you. The movie was such a let down for me.

By the way, did anyone else have real owls flying around their movie houses before the show?

  • I completely agree with you, and all the people who also agree and added various comments. This movie was terrible, and actually made me shed a tear because it was so bad. I went with someone who's only seen the movies and never read the books, and they though it was horrible. I don't care if it's to help the new movie, this movie was horrible, and would've been worth seeing even if it was 7 hours long. No Ginny and Harry, no battle scene, no major points what so ever.

  • They made the ending of the movie like that on purpose to make it a lead in to the next movie...rather then making it too eventful now...it's supposed to be suspenseful for what's to happen.

  • I totally agree with you. They focused more on the minor plot points then the important major ones. If they would have just totally gotten rif od some of the less important details that took up so much time they could have made it more interesting. The Dumbledores death scene just made me soo mad because it wouldnt of added any time and the Harry and Ginny thing had no chemistry not to mention I felt like there were no transitions from scene to scene.

  • The movie was made to make money only . They could care less about the book or the story.

  • yea. of corse its going to be different than the book. Jees. basically every single complaint about a harry potter movie is that it was "completely different from the book". How interesting would it be if it was the exactly the same. Then people who read the book would be bored and it would be predicatable. And not as many people would go watch it. They got you talking about it on youtube so their tactics must have worked if the goal was to get attention and therefore money

  • wow. so other people arent being honest about their reviews.

no one talked about what you said.. so they are probably giving credit to it when it

dosent stay true to the book

  • i dont like david yates directory

  • jc just got owned! ahhhh snap!

  • try makin ur own review dude...

  • I TOTALLY agree with this review!!! I felt like they spent WAY too much time on the silly relationships and lil comedy moments rather than the POINT of the book which was to teach Harry everything possible about Voldemort so he could be prepared for the responsibility of getting the horcruxes. I'm not a totally irrational fan, I understand that it will not be exactly like the book but this movie was way off balance as far as focusing on the POINT of the book. Thanks for the review :)

  • I couldn't agree more. I know that it's hard to cram a 650+ page book into a 2-hour movie but they made some changes to the story that I'll never understand. How hard would it have been to get the colors of potions right, or remove the christmas battle scene and add in the battle scene at the end of the book? These are two of many examples of avoidable derivations from the story. Don't even get me started on how they handled some of the romantic relationships. Rowling wrote the script for them!

  • the last book is going to be split into 2 movies!

  • Books are usually better than the movie.
