  • I just bought Matte Morphose today cause it was like %60 off at the supermarket but they only had 2 colours on sale. Then i remembered this video and remembered what you said about the colour - to get darker, so I could 200 Apricot Beige, and you are right, it is perfect! Feels great on too

  • i find you're videos better than blair's. she really rambles a lot

  • do you have any tips for finding your foundation color in a drugstore?? plz plz reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

    xoxo livi <3

  • @livydancer11 try the color on your chest, or your neck.

  • @0MultiBla0 ok thanx! :D

  • Unlike your sisters, you get straight to the point lmfao

  • anyone else notice that weird face at 5:30

  • I hate maybelline's eyeshadows

  • That primer is 12 dollars in US, 30 dollars in Australia, 7 dollars in hong kong.

  • i've just come upon this video and i have to say you look extremely pretty, your eyes are hypnotizingly beautiful and if you arent already a model (which i doubt) you should be.

thank you for the tutorial it was very informative and helpful :)

  • I noticed that she didnt put like any powder or anything under her nose & above her lips. I understand not putting tons of stuff right there, but at least a powder so it looks even-ish. It may be she's just talking and doens't want to get any in her mouth?

  • @ellahaliday I had the same problem! however, if you top it with a similar power blush it totally covers it up! I use pink frosting (dream blush) and Nat Rose in the cover girl cheekers :)

  • u rock and role

  • You look so pretty without any makeup on its not even noticable love you elle btw can you use this foundation rutine in the summer

  • @foreverbeauty90s yes hense her saying that repeatedly throughout the video..

  • the products used are tested on animals :[

  • Could you use this "summer" foundation routine during the winter if you don't need that much coverage??

  • Can someone plz answer me??

Is the dream mousse blush infused with shimmer because it doesn't look like shimmery blush when she puts it in but here in the uk when I try it in the stores it is so overly loaded with shimmer!!

By the way go watch my videos on my channel and don't just watch it comment as well!!!!

    Thanks

    Ella XOXO

  • @ellahaliday i thought the blush didnt have any shimmer either because when elle puts it on it doesnt look like it has any shimmer at all, so i bought a couple of them(couldnt try them out in the store because there were no testers) and opened them both at home and they were very shimmery! i decided to keep them because u only need a tiny bit and are super easy to blend onto the apples of my cheeks..and i live in california

  • @ellahaliday I think the shimmer just isnt capturing on camera. I bought the same (in the US) bush the other day and is was loaded! lol

  • you look so pretty without any makeup on

  • This was soooooooooo helpful thanks soo much!!!

  • She's considerably more beautiful than her sister (Blair) - Elle got the best of everything, hair, skin, face and even her makeup skills are better. lol just the way life goes.

  • @ElenaMay123 & chococaty24: I totally agree with you's! There arnet any Mac stores and it's practically impossible to just go to the drugstore and pick out all of those things! Why Australia WHY?!?!

  • that primer you used is nearly $30 in australia! and you think $12 is expensive?

  • @ElenaMay123 it's so depressing hey :(. damn our high prices

  • @ElenaMay123 Well, remember, she's talking about prices in the U.S. Which, $12 for one product here from the drugstore IS expensive for us. But $30? That's crazy!

  • Your beautiful without makeup on!:) Your skin is really clear! (is that the right word clear, or clean?:P)

  • LOVE this!!!!

  • YOU ARE JUST TELLING PEOPLE TO GO GET PRODUCTS FROM A COMPANY THAT TESTS ON ANIMALS....

  • @emjesssab shit is tested on humans to. get the hell over it.

  • @adayinothersshoes no, i dont want to

  • love this video! but may I ask, where did you get the essence of beauty brushes?

  • @LoveAndBeauty21xo cvs has them

  • @LoveAndBeauty21xo ulta :)

  • everyone check out my videos!! plzz!

  • I'm so happy I already own the foundation and blush but never was the best at applying them but thus helped a lot

  • iam using the same foundation.. i love it.. iam in color 518 Natural Buff.. Thanks for the vid elle :)

  • CAN YOU PLEASE DO A REVIEW ON THE L'oreal Studio Secret Magic Perfecting Base !! PLSS PLSS PLSS

  • you should really try the elf makeup brushes they are so awesome

  • hey elle...just a suggestion...you should get better lighting...its quite dark & you didnt look any different from beginning to end because you cant see much with your lighting.

  • how do you store double sided makeup brushes?

  • I could imagine if your user name was "Ellethatglitters21" ;DD That'd be awesome. ((:

  • I Really Like You Elle But Is That Really Your Skin? Everyone Has Blemishes... Cmon Now Gurl.

  • is pressed powder not considered a foundation? a foundation i own is called pressed powder and i was using it as a foundation...

  • @dreamwishergirl Pressed powder sets the foundation, and it's not actual foundation.

  • i have the maybellene fit me foundation, i got it recently, and i got my color by sampling the liquid foundation and then i used that to get the powder foundation that i have, cause i dont like liquid foundations. I think i got a shade a little too light but idk. its kinda okay maybe its just the lighting that makes me think i look paler. I should try the concealer though! my concealer is an essense one and its like a lipstick and it was like $2 and its ok, but i should try another.

  • eeek! too much blush

  • E.L.F makeup!We need a video on that!

  • can you put that magic perfecting base everywhere?

  • @rssabourin22 if ya mean the primer then u can :)

  • Comment removed

  • @AllThatGlitters21 oh my god, you look SO much better without eyeliner/mascara/heavy eye makeup.

  • I've been watching Blairs videos fo like, 6 months and have just discovered yours... double amount of the entertainment I love to watch!!! xxx

  • In the uk that foundation is called Matte morphose :)

  • @laleshka231 What is your problem? She did this drugstore foundation routine because people asked for one. Alright? And if you dont like the video dont watch it dont comment, just close out and MOVE ON!

  • @laleshka231 i didn't know the definition of whore is someone who saves money

  • @kkelseyponte a whore is someone like you darling

  • @kkelseyponte you look like a cheap prostitute in your photo

  • @laleshka231 troll alert

  • @laleshka231 Dear , this shows that you're cheap ......

  • @laleshka231 you're clearly new here. this is labelled a DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION ROUTINE for a reason, most of the bloody products she normally uses are high end, what, a beauty guru cant give advice to those of us who actually want to use good AFFORDABLE makeup? like you know anything about makeup anyway

  • i I have an old maybelline white Frosted shadow, its my fave white shadow of all time, shows up great and I always reach for it for my brow bone and inner tear duct. Loreal is GREAT Stuff, made in France so it has all the great ingredients in it. I tried the tru blend and loved it, and the new Visible Lift, its just amazing stuff, and has no fragnreces which tend to break me out, if a foundation is heavliy Fragrenced. LOREAL BEST DRUGSTORE CUD BE HIGH END IF THEY MARKETED IT THAT WAT

  • @jiller777 Loreal has a high end line, it's called Lancome (they are owned by the same company) just fyi -It's all good.... My everyday face (and heavier night) cream is Loreal Age Perfect but I do spurge on the Lancome under eye cream (Renergie Eye). A little goes a long way. At $75 it has lasted me a year and I still have at least 6 months worth left. I am a Mom though - use sunscreen is my best advice :) Actually that Garnier Anti-Puff Eye Roller performs amazingly and feels cool.

  • @laleshka231 whats wrong with you?

  • @kkelseyponte i hate bitches like you, your a superficial whore

  • @laleshka231 excuse you!

  • @laleshka231 troll alert!

  • @laleshka231 umm little kids can watch this and read your rude and inappropriate moments!

  • You should try Maybellines Mousse Foundation! Its great for all skin types!

  • tryed out the loreal one vs. the maybelline 1, LOVE THE LOREAL ONE WAY MORE, CHECK THAT ONE OUT!!!

  • Your skin is so beautifull, if I were you I wouldn't were any kind of foundation

  • @love beauty same for me too but I use a makeup sponge to blend it out or sometime I use a buffing brush to buff it out

  • I personally don't think people should comment comparing Elle and Blair. Like "Elle is better" "I like Elle more" "Blair is so much better" I'm sure it bothers them too/: Well, I dunno if it does. But I know it bothers me when me and my sister get compared. I think they are both equally amazing.

  • 12 dollars? Come australia $30 .. :(

  • I can tell your a natural beauty! Beautiful girl :) And I love your videos.

  • I have the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Primer and I have combination-dry skin. It does not work at all for my skin. I only like how smooth it makes my skin, but at the end of the day it really makes my skin flakey, itchy and dry. I LOVE the covergirl powder, just use it moderation. By accident I put on too much and it made my skin very splotchy and itchy. Hope that helps anyone. :D

  • the primer is 20.00 freaking dollars in Canada -_-

  • What concealer would be best for acne?????

  • @BlueGreen807 I recommend Almay or Covergirl Complexion.

  • her eyes r uneven

  • how much did ur brushes cost each

  • @beauty2chic There like $10 in a pack. pretty cheap, but there really good brushes!

  • when the tutorial started at 0:33 i didn't know you weren't wearing any foundation!! Your skin is sooooo flawless!!!! I'm soo jelly!! :)

  • Could you do a drug store foundation winter routine, please???

  • Can you please do a video on your drugstore Winter routine ? I would be sooo thankful :) aha.

  • Can you please do a video about facial dry spots and how to cover them and fix them without overly drying them out too much? I get bad ones on my eyelids actually and in the winter, along my nose and I hate the way it looks :(

  • asdf

  • it looks like you dont have pupils! LOL

  • I have that foundation but whenever I put it on my skin looks really dry and cakey

  • @lovebeauty27

Try a good supple moisturizer like Cetaphil and use a silicone based face primer :) It should work.

  • thanks for this video it was way helpful

  • 9:14 CLICK!

  • Can you do a drugstore routine for a pin up girl look with bright red lips using only drugstore products?

  • i thought that when Elle's cat meowed towards the end of the video, that it was my cat lol :P

  • @ShootforMars at the beginning of the video she acually did say im using all drugstore products including the brushes ...!!!

  • @VivianDenyse94 My comment wasn't about the products she's using in the video. A user called Elle snotty and ignorant because she said drugstore products break her out. THAT'S what I was replying to.

  • champange fizz is awesome

  • ***not allowed to wear makeup TILL 8th gradr

  • Im only allowed to wear makeup in 8th grade(next year) but for now i just exeriment with all the makeup my sister doesnt use lol THX soo much elle :) and also what r some rlly good waterproof mascara and eyeliners( pencil) i suck at appling liquid liner lol

  • @13loveyoutaylorswift I'm in 8th grade! I've never brought up the make-up subject to my mom. XD But I do have a ton of make-up. I like special FX make-up :DD

  • @LexipooLuvsChu thankssss :)

  • @LexipooLuvsChu Lol me too! have a bunch of make-up . don't use it for school. and LOVE FX make-up too! XD

  • @13loveyoutaylorswift I love the Sephora waterproof eyeliner but if you don't want to spend $12, I recommend the L'Oreal Le Kohl Pencil in Carbon Black. :)

  • @himaureen, that's a nasty thing to say. Check the ingredients of drug store brands in comparison to higher end brands. There's a big difference. I find that drug store brands usually give me problems such as either too oily skin or dry patches.

Young and inexperienced? Who did you say was the snotty one?

  • L'oreal Magic Smooth Soufflé is only available in America :(

    being English sucks

  • @OohMiix it came to europe a long time before america.....i know because i have it.

in europe it is called matte morphose.

  • When companies test on animals there not stabbing them in their eye sockets or

horribly maiming them..get ur facts straight don't assume you children

  • @SwirlyTwirlie they put poison in the animals eyes, and they abuse them by keeping them in cages until they die. shut up

  • I tried to apply foundation and it always looks so caked on

  • @MarisaJordan try using a skin a primer it works wonders either that or before you put your make up on mix some olive oil with some sugar and scrub your face to exfoliate dead skin that will help your make up go on a lot smoother as well oh and don't forget to use a moisturizer! keep your skin hydrated =)

  • Pretty

  • Elle! I tried the Magic Smooth Souffle and I absolutely LOVE it! I also got the Fit Me concealer, and it's alright too. :-) However, I have to say that the EoB angled brush seemed to shed, a LOT. Is that normal?

  • aw she's so sunburned:( LOL

  • yea... everything you used except the bronzer is tested on animals....

  • too much blush... LOL

  • Comment removed

  • I think I started wearing make up in year eight! I think that's seventh grade?? :)

  • so i've been watching youre videos for a few years now and this is the fiiiirst time ive ever commented but i really wanted to let you know that i really love this foundation routine and it works great for me:) i always love your tips and tricks and hardly had a clue about make up before i started watching. it seems like you have come SO far..congratulations! the sky is the limit <3 andrea

  • OMG love this video!!! my fav :) do more tutorials please lol!!

  • i started wearing makeup in 8th grade

  • I like Elle more than Blair.

  • @taylorscreamsrawrr Me too :)

  • @taylorscreamsrawrr honestly, it isn't fair to either of them for you to say you like one more than the other .... don't you think about others' feelings?? And as if you had the courage to post your vids o youtube in the first place..

  • @taylorscreamsrawrr I like Blair better, lol...not that I don't like Elle, but yeah.

  • @taylorscreamsrawrr Good for you.

  • I startedvwearing makeup in 6th grade

  • When should I start to wear makeup?! I am in the 6th grade!!!

  • What do you think about eyeliner should I wear it.If it brings out my eyes, when should start to wear makeup?! P.S. I am in the 6th grade!!

  • i have the essence of beauty blush brush, i use it everydayy:) <3 btw, love your videossss ! :)

  • Love the l'oreal studio secrets primer too, though I use it all over my face to even out my skin and I have plentiful of scarring from breakouts, so the light coverage is welcomed!

  • Is that a good setting powder?

  • this sounds like the beginning song from spy kids 1 .

  • say if you have mild-kinda bad acne adn you use accutaine. then your acne goes away and its all good. but then you wear makeup everyday, like foundation etc.. will your acne come back from clogging your pores??

  • I just bought that foundation b/c you've been raving about it in all ur vids and I can se why!! It's SUCH a great product and I'm the same color too :))) Unsponsored :))

  • @bloodgushingsquirrel Jealous much? -.-

  • @bloodgushingsquirrel That is a really weak insult. -.- go troll somewhere else.

  • Ive always wanted to try this foundation but I think im allergic to l'oreal :/ but I think its pretty awesome how u used only drugstore brands

  • I need some help!

I have a very dry patch of skin around my mouth that I CANT get rid of! It's so embarrassing! I've tried moisturizers and such, but it wont go away :( Anyone have advice??

  • @Scarlet1Moon Try a mask made of yogurt and honey, it makes miracles!

  • @Scarlet1Moon Hydrocortisone cream. My roommate had the same thing. :) You can find it at any drug store.

  • youre really pretty :)

  • Comment removed

  • @FabFrk276

    It's the dream mousse one.

  • Comment removed

  • do u have freckles??

  • i have the mabelline dream mousse blush in peach satin and it waayyy to shear and shimmery ! but ive actually been using it as a sort of highlight and it seems to work well in that way :)

  • I bought everything except i got peach blush instead of pink frosting, they were sold out of the pink at my store. Ha!

  • you can use it as a primer and a higlighter thats why it gives alot of people that glow!

  • soo i watch this video and got so excited! haha i went to the store and bought everything but the blush and love all of it so much! thank you :)

  • I use the translucent powder using the ecotools brush but was doing it wrong thanks for the video!!!

  • LOREAL MAYBELLINE RIMMLE AND MOST DRUG STORE AND EVEN HIGH END MAKEUP LINES TEST ON ANIMALS .SAVE THEM ITS UNNECESSARY FOR THEM TO BE TESTED ON THEIR BIOLOGICAL MAKEUP DIS DIFFERENT FROM OURS AND THEY SHOULDNT HAVE TO HAVE EYELINER STABBED INTO THEIR EYE JUST SO WE CAN WEAR IT .I LOVE MAKEUP BUT I THINK IT IS COMPLETELY WRONG

  • @judypops97 I agree with you I don't buy or use anything tested on animals. Just the thought of it makes me cry.

  • Comment removed

  • @judypops97 Relax w/ caps lock

  • Elle: To say drugstore makeup usually breaks you out sounds snotty and ill-informed. You imply that pricier makeup is better for your skin. That is not always or often the case. Get to know the ingredients INSIDE your makeup to learn what breaks you out specifically, then avoid those ingredients. Drugstore makeup and higher end makeup share the same ingredients. Usually they increase in price goes toward packaging and marketing, NOT quality. I know you are young, so you have room to grow.

  • @himaureen She didn't say it was only drugstore products, I believe she said "a lot of products, especially drugstore..." But telling her that she's young and has room to grow sounds just as snotty. If, from her experience, many drugstore products haven't worked with her skin, it's probably true. It's her experience, it happened, she tends to breakout more from drugstore products than from a higher-end brand.

  • @ShootForMars no. she said "everything in this video is drugstore products including the brushes"

  • @ElliesSuperStudio That wasn't even the point I was making. I WASN'T talking about what she's using in the video. I was talking about Himaureen's comment on Elle saying that drugstore products break her out.
