  • Hi Mark, this sounds great! I was going to watch your hands and transcribe it, but it's in the key of E...and your hands are playing it in C. Any reason for the transposition? Anyhow, great job. I'd love to add this to some of my casuals, even on solo piano without the rhythm it would sound nice.

  • The purpose of the keyboard transposition is to make it easier to play and form some improvs. I do this with several other songs that are part of my pop piano program (in the making). As many guitarists write their songs in the key of E, my program is geared for keyboardists to visualize these arrangements in the key of C. The focus is not on transposing for the purpose of vocal ranges, but rather to address primary chord structure within the chord progression, (easier in C, than other keys).

  • If you can visualize a chord progression in the key of C, then you can easily transpose that bass and chord set to just about any other key.

  • You know u be jammin brother.

  • Yes, I am jammin', brother!

  • Yes, we can change the world... through music, and a little peace and harmony.
