God this song hits home. So many people I've hurt so deeply. People that only wanted the best for me. People my insanity and alcoholism couldn't have cared less about... Sometimes, you really wish people would just hate you, the same way you hate yourself.
Sigh, brings me back to my first love. It was a great song she had introduced to me... and then I found myself listening to it non-stop once things fell apart. It was sooo depressing back then... but, looking back now, it's kind of all bittersweet. This is still just an awesome song.
Not that he has a little bit of calling you in his videos. Hes singing about his life. How he was a drug addict and his counselor told him to write songs to help and than he got out of it. Now he has a beautiful wife and a beautiful daughter and to make it even more awesome he named his daughter Blue. He sings from the heart. :)
