  • I freaking love the Q, :D

  • trip down vabeach blvd to oceanfrount

  • Great sound on this video!

  • aa we send a engine and tanker thats it

  • The reason why their bunker gear is clean is because they are a good department and they know how to maintain their gear!!!

  • two engines and truck on a afa jackson township fire in ohio just send a engine and their tower along with the bc

  • @nwbb43 But jackson has 5 stations, with 5 combo companies, and usually has a squad call or two going on most of the time.

  • like the quantum and the ladder

  • AFA's suck. 9 times out of 10 there nothing. When I ride with the Ocoee Fire Dept I ride rescue. I prefer medical over fire. but I switch between the two. MVA's are always fun. later. stay Safe.

  • TRFA #114 Baby! Former engine 7 dude right here just dropping by and re-visiting the memories of VBFD!

  • You were with the Thalia FD. Engine 7?

  • YEEEEEP!

  • I live in Thalia. Thanks for serving!!!!!

  • Wow! Small world! Actually I (unfortunately) relocated back to Ohio and I REALLY want to return back to the fire department there. I MISS the job more than you can imagine! Yep! Today I believe that B crew is working. I'm pretty sure you heard the federal que whining sometime today! I left just before the new Chipotle building was being finished on Virginia Beach Blvd. this summer. Hopefully if things work out, I'll be back before my "window" of return expires.

  • Thalia FD is really awesome!! Hope you get to come back. Im always listening to the scanner and hear them leaving the station all the time. Im really hoping you guys get a new station (in the same place) .... They've been talking about it.

Again, thanks for protecting our community!

  • Ahhhhh, you probably remembered the Allied Technologies fire that happened in March of this year! That was the BIGGEST fire I fought in my life! MAN I miss that day and would relive it if I could! I believe that Chesepeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Suffolk Fire departments were there as well. It all started off as a regular smoke alarm. When I saw that smoke from the distance of town center, I KNEW it was going to be a long day.

  • I remember a big Appartment Fire close to town center.. for some reason i cant remember. Was it at town center?

  • Nah, a little past that! It was across the street from the Popeye's restaurant and the plaza on Virginia Beach Blvd. I believe it was March 9th of this year. Without exaggeration I believe there were about 45-50 fire trucks there total! It's actually located behind the old Bills Flea Market building.

  • the rest of em gotta learn how to use a real siren. a q, no electric, especially a gay ass powercall. real fire trucks dont use em

  • its a major thing down here to use electrics. plus some departments in this area use the powercall, not to mention the rotoray. plus these guys probably see alot more calls than your department either way

  • ew you guys have one of those ugly ass Pierce's. Like the straight stick though.

  • awesome, hope you don't mind me using is on myspace.. I wil be in the vst starting next week, working my way on my goal fulltime vbfd. my grand father was a 40 yr vol. at station 3 old and new... later.

  • what scares me is the 4m20s + response time. all joking aside...VBFD you guys rock !

  • u said it man lol

  • the best sound in the world is a Q and an air horn

  • look across the street.

  • Atleast one engine in the group knows how to use the Q.

  • only if u where in the quantum

  • o know i get it

  • let me guess your in E-11 the lafrance

  • yes

  • how u know dat
