i love fieros man, ive got an 85' GT that im hoping to drop an ls1 or ls2 with a getrag 5 or 6 transmission i really want an ls7 but im not made of money :) besides with a few simple mods i can rape bosters with the 2.8 :D looks nice and clean though man,  sounds great to.

One of the best engines ever made. I'm an Import guy at heart, and I love my Z's, but pontiac was an American Icon. GM needs to have their ass removed for dumping the Pontiac brand.

Also, my 85 300ZX is getting a blown 3800 sometime this summer. Mwah-hah-hah!

How are you supposed to keep a brand alive that the majority of Americans will not buy? Look at the numbers... the leadership of Pontiac is to blame. GM's divisions were (are?) divided. That's why the boys at Hummber thought that it was GREAT to introduce the H2 which killed off Chevy's Suburban. The Hummer guys got more R&D money from managment and the Chevy boys less... The system was designed when GM ruled the world, except they forgot to change it when they lost control.

No. the engine is actualy rear mounted. technicaly that bottle is in the "trunk"

Fiero's are mid-engine, so that is actually the trunk that the bottle is sitting in.

That little side scoop is restrictive. I did a calcul;ation and its will hinder a 3 1/2" tube CAI. You can do what I did in milling out the fake grill slots and putting a series of 1/2 holes on the bottom.

I owned a 1986 Fiero Gt Fastback that had the standard 2.8 lt V6 bored out 60 thou.. and the heads shaved 20 thou.. will all the bells and whistles.. was running over 200 hp.. doesn't sound like much but kept up with a 5.0 Mustang Gt.. weight was the big difference.. always wanted to upgrade to a v8 .. great car man, great video.. I miss my little rocket!

No you will need a 96 camaro 3800 flywheel and spec for camaro. Spec also sells a flywheel already made for the fiero 3800 swap. call spec
