Well, some might consider this plea for Survivor type recognition, possible fame, and financial gain, as shameful, narcissistic and repulsive. Some might believe that this diminishes and spoils something which has been a fairly pure and largely personal AT experience for others.
I usually enjoy videos and blogs of thru-hikers, with their focus on trail beauty, overcoming obstacles and friends made along the way ... no so much about promotion of SELF.
