  • worked great thank you

  • Can you get the same ProcAmp effects by using Levels and Master saturation in Three-Way Color Corrector?

  • how do you increase the size of the three color wheels?

  • i cant find the procamp effect in my programm

  • ..adding some EPFects on it. lol :))

  • Great tutorial!

  • Thanks, i like your acccent alsoooo

  • @TaraTheEntertainer you can the "create sequence 2" thing. But unless your content is almost 100 similar you might still have to make individual adjustments in each clip. if he would have shot the bus from another angle the color grading would look completely different. Check your footage, don't just think that by making a copy of the effects that it is going to work everytime.

  • ´thank you very much ^^

  • BINK color for lovescenes, hahaha!

  • this is good bro thanks!!! im going into videoing so this was helpful !!!

pls do some more bro peace out!!

  • You shouldn't use Premiere. You should use only Powerdirector or Vegas or both.

  • @boreoutofmybrain44 :

Why? Premiere is an excellent video editor. Could you back up your statement?

  • i love you

  • THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • For these functions, the program is too expensive.

  • I have slightly more than zero experience with Premiere but long have wanted to begin using it more frequently. This was easy to follow, easy to understand, & hugely helpful - thanks for taking the time to make it!

  • Great vid mist vids when I search premiere pro come up with after effects so thank you!

  • this was very helpful, thank you!

  • an easier way to get that vignette is to just change the blending mode to stencil alpha, increase the radius and then feather it out...saves you the trouble of changing the color and inverting the circle. Great video by the way.

  • great tutorial! thank you so much for posting that, now my videos look much better :)

  • I drag the color corrector to the clip, make adjustments, but it has no effect on the video. What am I doing wrong?

  • @ThePsychwardFilms you maybe have to render right after the color correction , just hit the enter key

  • this is great thanks!

  • I clicked "Like" but I wasn't logged in. LOL. Thanks for the tutorial btw.

  • THANK YOU So MUCH!!

  • THANKS

  • @TaraTheEntertainer select all your clips, right click "nest" apply effect to nested clip.

  • wow you sound like Christopher waltz

  • Very nice, thanks...!!

  • Hey, nive video. Helped a lot, but could you tell me how I can make those bars on the top and bottom. Would be nice ;)

  • Sweet thank you sir!

  • what kind of computer do you use? i have a mac book pro

  • this is awesome thanks so much :D

  • Sir, your videos helped me a lto. True pro. Thx :)

  • @TaraTheEntertainer Create a new sequence (2). And put your other sequence (1) in that timeline. Then apply your color correction in sequence 2.

Another way to do this, is by copy and paste the effects from one clip to the others.

  • @YapperDesign could i cut scenes in between of a clip? could i add more than 1 clip at a time?

  • a question please.: the effect is really good, but, what about of the FPS?, you advice low the frames? i see the "color cinema" but the objects stll move like in a "video home" (sorry for my bad english) =/

  • wow dude...thank you, i've been trying to get the film look forever...thank you...seriously =)

  • or just use 'fast color corection'? there you can change these colors and contrast

  • your voice is agravating:)))

  • wicked video dude. i had to sign in just to let u kno that. subscribed. liked. real deal. helped alot.

  • Ben je belg of nederlander? Omdat je de lijn-bus hebt gefilmd?

  • thankkkkkkkkkkksssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • Cool never new about the ProcAmp effect. Thanks a million

  • thanx

  • A million thanks!

  • Thank You.

  • do i have to do this to every clip? how do i keep the colors in all the clips in the timeline?

  • @LiriWho You can copy/paste the effect to other clips. But make sure that every clip has a good continuity in colors.

  • @LiriWho Make a new sequence and drag your main sequence into that sequence, then apply the color correction.

  • MPINK!

  • @JustAdam112 Hah.

  • nice tutorial! your voice sounds EXACTLY like Col. Hans Landa from inglorious bastards!

  • Thanks for the video.

  • thank you so muchh.. helped me a lot,

  • lemme guess your favourite colour... blueewweee

  • Thank you :)

  • obrigado...

  • whats easier to use sony vegas pro or adobe premiere and what gives the better film look?

  • @DylanW216 Premiere pro is being used in the professinal industrie and vegas in the consumer/semi-professional industrie. everything is not easy when you open it for the first time. I have never used vegas before, so i can only recommend you premiere pro.

  • @YapperDesign I use both, Vegas is a lot easier, however I prefer premiere as its more professional :) but hey thats just me

  • @DylanW216 i have to agre, im using both premiere and vegas,

if u really want to go hard and beyond evryone else, premiere is the wa to go, if ur just editing and its a hobby 4 u vegas is the best choice :)

  • THX This is what I always was looking for!

But do you know how to make it a bit more night?

  • @007s00s Check out my website, then click on 'forums'. You will directly see a guide on how to make a day for night in premiere pro. I also have a video tutorial of it, but it's for Final Cut Pro.

  • nice effects, but you talk too much...

  • goed man!

  • thanx man alooot

    lets subscribe him guyzzzzz

  • thx dude

  • this video was really helpful! i was wondering if you knew how to do the vignetting effect on Premiere Pro 1.5. That's the program i am working with for now, and i need help figuring out how to make that effect. thank you!

  • very helpful...thank you!

  • Thank U. That was great! :)

  • Thank you!

    God Damn.

    This was helpful. lol.

  • ey man goeie video gast ;)

  • Nice tutorial

  • I have a LOT of different shots in a sequence, and it's going to take forever to doing this if I use the three way colour corrector for each one. I was kind thinking of just copying the effects applied in the first clip, and paste element to all the other shots. Is it recommended that I do this or just skip to the steps in ProcAmp and just apply the effect to all my files? Is there an alternative way, and what do you recommend?

  • @jackfavvv The best way to do it is to color correct each different shot you have. Of course, you can just apply the effect to all your clips but you will see that some shots will have a wrong correction. It depends on you how the quality of your video had to be. But I recommend to apply it to each shot. Color correction is done it many things, and I need to do it in almost everything I make where I also correct each shot apart.

  • @YapperDesign I see, this is going to take a really long time for me then. Thanks Yapper.

  • Ops, I meant: "copying the effects applied in the first clip, and paste attributes"

  • He's Canadian

  • Dutch (Belgium) exually but thanks ;-)

  • thanks for the video very helpful. im going to try that today. cheers.

  • thanks that was really helpful, espescially the vignette

  • Hey man thanks for uploading this video, I'll be able to use all these techniques for my short film :D

  • Great Help! Thank You!

  • you're talking weird man

  • OMG. I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS ANOTHER COUNTRY THAN THE UNITED STATES.

Dumb ass. Stop being racist, appreciate the art of filmmaking.

  • im not racist. and also im not american.I just said he is talking weird.Thats it.

I appreciate what his doing.Dont read it with your ass my friend.

  • Well then you probably talk weird to him.

  • do you know how to create the background to blur? I know all the film makers and to get the film-look, they have a 16-35mm lens. Do you got any ideas to get my film "blur" in the background?

    best, jera3

  • That blur that you mean is a focus. And it is done with the camera, not in editing. But you can also simulate it in editing.

Duplicate your video layer, then key out your subject in video layer 2 and add a blur effect on video layer 1.

  • ah, thanks man! I'll try.

But could you also be my hero and make a tutorial when you have time? :)

    thanks !

  • @YapperDesign nice tutorial.thx for this.I have always wondered if there is a way to select a specific element in the video and enhance it.why all the movies with the orange colour grade like "listener" always have this strong orange sky.

  • The sky is mostly bright, so add a little more orange color to your whiteness.

  • I'l see what I can do. At the moment I got a huge list of tutorials I still need to wait. But I'l try to my best to have it at the end of the month.

  • Hey man, just a tip. It's very hard to get a true cinema look out-of-camera. Well, unless you're using a real cinema camera. If they're using a camera such as the XH A1, they would use a DOF adapter. Most people use "Prime lenses" as they usually are cheaper and offer faster apertures to decrease the DOF. You would also have a set frame rate of 23.976 (24) fps. Just a tip, when working with those cameras and no DOF adapter, zoom in and stay back. You'll get a tight DOF.

    Luck. -RTBFilms.

  • ok, thank you so much !

    -jera3

  • Thank for the tips, but I'm in film school so I learn all about that ;-) .. this tutorial is just showing a way how to copy such film look when shooting without a professional camera. It doesn't deliver the same effect, but it's still nice for beginners and hobby-people.

  • Yes, I see your point. Also, my point in fact, it is also possible to achieve a similar film look in iMovie. Believe it or not, if used properly, it can export similar results. You just have to know how to use it. I haven't used FCS but a good tool with Premiere is After Effects. It may be compositing but if used right, it's a very powerful color grading tool. But' I'll assume everyone here just has Premiere.

    -RTBFilms

  • We work with "Color" from the Final Cut Studio in school. That's very powerful when it comes to color grading. And Final Cut Pro also has a little compositing function in it.

Now, I've never worked with iMovie, but I heard it's getting pretty advanced.

  • great 2in1 tutorial .. thks

  • can you create the fps down that you have recorded? I mean, if you record with 60i fps, can you then make it down to 24-25 fps on that program?

    Thanks for respons!

    best, jera3

  • Yes you can, a simple solution to do it is by working in a project which has the settings of a 24-25fps sequence. You can chose that when you click "New Project".

  • ah, thanks man! Really appreciate it! :)

    Nice tutorial tho :)

    - best, jera3
