beliefs, as most people's beliefs are simply a matter of luck, the randomness of where they are born.
There are other problems with a belief system where a god requires you to believe in them in order to be saved. Firstly, why would an all powerful being Care if you believed in it or not? I know that if I created a Universe I wouldn't be that petty and insecure (I'm not, now), so why would god be a lesser person than me? I would be far more concerned with how people behaved towards each other
