@St0pH0rseSlaughter All? No they are not all this colour, palomino tobiano. What about Misty's Black Mist, a black tobiano. Her famous daughter Stormy was a chestnut skewbald. Her less famous daughter Wisp O' Mist was plain chestnut. There were plain colours and broken. Some descendants have palomino, chestnut, bay, black or buckskin base colours. Fair variety I say.
@supernovi2000 yes if i am correct the Kentucky horse park has a display..how to put this in a kind way...their bodies were stuffed. if i am correct. its been years since i've been to see the exibit
@KitKatBrie You are correct that Misty and Stormy were taxidermied (the scientific term for the permanent preservation of bodies for display), however they are at this moment on Chincoteague. Originally they were displayed at the Beebe Ranch but they were moved to the Chincoteague Pony Center where the rest of the Misty display is. Sadly the Beebe Ranch is no more, just an empty lot now. The only Misty currently on display in Kentucky is the twin of the Misty statue found on Chincoteague.
