He kicked every single players out one by one, one at a time through out that final table and walk away with championship. Are you saying he played with luck? Yes every single poker players play with luck and with little strategy behind it. Jerry's strategy is to bluff and kick players out while they have small stacks. Players with small stack has more fear and that was his advantage.

Jerry Yang is the worst main event winner of all time. All he did was go all in before the flop, and win coin tosses all the time. He can't play post flop with skill, so he relys on luck with a lottery ticket win. Good on him.

@Tehui1974 he sucks and i agree.. moneymaker, gold and yang all donks.. hachem is the best winner in the last 10 years by a mile because he won it then got 2nd in an event the following year with 1000 entrants then went deep in a few tournys and in 2006 main event got 238th and then in 2008 got 103rd! and also he went deep in the 20007 aussie millions and won a wpt event :) also greg raymer won the main event 2004 then got 25th place in 2005 out of 5,619 which is unbelievable!

@Tehui1974 pepo are stupid. there are many ways to play poker. pepo have there own style of playing but luck is something u cant controll. jerry yang had the skills and luck thats y he won. hes an aggressive player. y would he not go all in?? why would he let his opponent see the flop?? plus he was 2nd short stack in beggining.

@macteesac I just told you, the reason I don't rate Yang is his game is based too much on luck. He won a lottery ticket in the main event, because all he did was win 50% coin tosses all the way down the stretch. I rate players and former WSOP bracelet winners like Ivey, Juanda, Huck Seed, and Cunningham, who used more skill when they won their braclets.
